Causes: Emergency Assistance, Human Services
Mission: Whenwelove works to ease the stress caused by poverty; we serve no-income, low-income and homeless individuals and families and walk with them through the process of regaining their dignity, value and worth as they learn new life skills that lead to self-sufficienty. Through individual assessments, relational case management and group mentoring we offer every person we serve the opportunity for self-improvement and life transformation.
Programs: Transportation assistance - 1 car was gifted to a family in need, 18 car payments were made, 31 gas card/vouchers provided to assist job search/employment, bus fares provided for family reunification
homeless and family outreach - 30,000+ warm meals have been served, 2100 personal hygiene kits provided, 75 thanksgiving baskets delivered, 1940 attend movie nights, 38 families housed who living in cars or shelters
general outreach - 4,456 people were assisted, 416 people reached work clothes, 46 people recieved work boots or shoes, bibles and books were handed out, 21 people were assisted in gaining employment, 384 attended events at the center
