Mission: Victims Remembered, Inc. brings victims and survivors of crime, tragedy, violence and personal loss together to remember deceased loved ones and to find support, comfort and help. Victims Remembered, Incorporated purpose is to create public awareness that the needs of victims are many and ongoing and can continue long after the funerals and criminal trials are over. Society must understand that, for the victim to get through their unfortunate experience, it may take decades to emotionally, physically, financially, and legally recover, if ever, from the ordeal. Victims Remembered, Inc. organizes public events that include a prayer service, reception and information fair where community organizations and agencies make their services and information available to victims. Victims Remembered, Inc. also maintains a library of materials for distribution to victims, veterans, and those in grief. Victims Remembered, Inc. provides all its services at no charge.
