Programs: Program-1: workshops/roundtables - trace held workshops in johannesburg (60 attendees), beijing (65 attendees), and sao paulo (63 attendees) for the employees and intermediaries of trace members companies. These workshops provided a comprehensive overview of anti-bribery regulations, enforcement trends and compliance best practices. Speakers included senior compliance executives from trace member companies, partner firm representatives and government officials. Such workshops are free for trace members to attend. The workshop in johannesburg was held in partnership with sandvik, snc-lavalin and ens africa. Continued on schedule o. Companies from the local business community were invited to attend these events at no charge and trace offered attendees the opportunity to complete tracecertification, an internationally recognized due diligence review that demonstrates a candidate's commitment to commercial transparency, at no charge for one year. Roundtables were held in melbourne (9 attendees), sydney (12 attendees), hamburg (8 attendees), amsterdam (9 attendees), geneva (11 attendees), singapore (19 attendees), paris (7 attendees), and rome (8 attendees). These roundtables facilitated benchmarking among senior level compliance executives from trace member companies. Trace held multiple chapter meetings in houston (10 attendees in march, 13 attendees in july, and 6 attendees in december), dubai (12 attendees in may, 5 attendees in september), london (12 attendees in june, 7 in september, 8 in november), and san francisco (8 attendees). Trace compliance chapters offer an opportunity for compliance professionals in trace member companies to share insights, exchange best practices and build community. There was no charge for participation.
program-2: online training - trace provides its members with unlimited use of its customizable training platform and multilingual online training library. Full length and refresher courses cover a wide range of key compliance issues including anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, conflict minerals, economic sanctions and avoiding trafficked labor and are available in up to 28 languages. Our updated anti-bribery training leverages gamification to improve learner retention and engagement.
program-3 -trace forum and european forum - trace hosted its annual forum in washington, dc with 117 attendees. The event featured regulators and provided attendees with practical takeaways on compliance best practices. There was no charge for participation. In addition, trace hosted a european forum in london, with 82 attendees. This event was developed to better accommodate our growing community of european member companies and in response to the increased focus on corporate compliance programs in europe. The program addressed anti-bribery regulatory and enforcement developments, as well as compliance trends, in the region and provided member companies with a platform to share best practices and address new challenges.
