I love how this organization works with young people my age. They genuinely care about each their clients. All the people I have met are really nice and sweet. We need more groups like this helping people.
Some of the best 10 years of my life were spent working as a Registered Nurse and eventually becoming Nurse Manager at Wellspring Life Ministry. Working closely with women and men at a time when they needed support by offering our various medical and counseling services and walking the walk with them gave them good information and hope at a challenging time.
I have been involved with Wellspring Life Ministry for over 15 years and I am constantly amazed by the genuineness and professionalism this ministry displays everyday. I am passionate about the mission of this ministry because of my own personal experience. When I was a teenager I was in need of support and honest information but unfortunately didn’t know about this resource and made a traumatic decision. Thankfully, many years later, Wellspring was able to come alongside me in my grief and offer healing that has transformed my life and I will forever be grateful!

I wish I would have known about the Pregnancy Clinic years ago. At 14 I didn’t know the options available to me and unfortunately chose abortion. I regretted that decision to the point of suicidal depression for years. Thankfully I found the Pregnancy Clinic in 2008 and they helped me to find healing following that regrettable decision so long ago. The resources and counseling they provide to the community are so important and unmatched anywhere else. I am thankful they were there to help me turn my life around and I will choose to support them anyway I can so other women can find what I so desperately wish I would have known.
Everyone in contact with this organization is treated with dignity, compassion and competence. I've seen how they treat their clients. They provide an incredible service to the community and help women in need. From the first phone call or text, to the front desk staff, counselors and medical team. They genuinely care about their clients and it shows.
I support Wellspring Life because of the good that they do, especially in these very trying times. They offer a holistic range of services for wellness care, grounded in faith, that includes free medical care, counseling, support services, and most importantly giving women encouragement they need to choose life for their preborn babies. Wellspring publishes a very detail annual report on the impact that they have.

Through my ministry as a Respect Life coordinator of my church I have had the opportunity to work with Wellspring Life on many occasions. I get their annual report and other communications throughout the year on thier ministry to help women in an unexpected pregnancy to choose life. I have visited their charming facility in Annapolis of many occasions where they have allowed other pro-life organizations to use the facility for candlelight vigils, cross walks, and other events. They have also hosted baby showers for expectant mothers and provided tours where they feature 3d ultrasound equipment. Once of my favorite events is the annual Wellspring Life annual Walk & Run for Life which is wonderfully uplifting and family-oriented. Wellspring is one of my favorite ministries and the people who volunteer there are amazing.

Wellspring Life is a wonderful ministry to women and babies, offering free medical services such as fertility education, pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, pap and breast exams, and STD/HIV testing. They also offer free LifeSense classes covering a variety of parenting topics including planning & preparing for parenting; what to expect in labor and delivery; baby basics; infant health & safety; and baby bonding & massage (among others). Participants can receive a free baby shower in a bag, full of essentials to help them welcome their precious little ones into the world. Our family LOVES this ministry that helps women choose life and then sticks with them as they carry, deliver and parent their babies.
Wellspring Life Ministries formerly Bowie,Severna Park, Annapolis Pregnancy Center has been providing excellent care for women in distress for over 37 yrs. Women with unwanted pregnancies were the first clients. The volunteers offer friendly , loving, helpful, concerned care for the women, discussing options available to them, offering sonograms, pregnancy tests, vitamins , information, layettes, baby clothes and formula, diapers, a word of encouragement. One on one care and availability. We have just started doing well women visits. All of this care is free, No charge to the Client . A wonderful help to the Community. All the staff that I have interacted with either through email or in person were kind, positive, and warm! They work hard to support their community.
I was a volunteer ultrasound chaperone back in 2013 and 2014. I took the comprehensive training to be a volunteer and learned about the issue of unplanned pregnancy and how this ministry counsels people. It is truly service with love and grace. Women are supported and not pressured or coerced to carry the pregnancy. I can vouch for that as I learned their methods from volunteer training. Many of the staff are the same as 10 years ago. Our community needs this organization as so many women are grateful that they were supported to choose life. And women who regret their abortion can come and receive support to find forgiveness and healing. I still fundraise for them every year!

I am a yearly fundraiser for this non-profit as I believe in the service they provide to our community. About 7 years ago I was an ultrasound chaperone and completed the training to be a volunteer counselor. I know the staff and volunteers and they give from the heart and offer much needed support to women in need. They extend grace and truth in a difficult situation that women and men face. Wellspring Life Ministry is a ministry that works endlessly to save the lives of the unborn and to help clients make wise life choices. Clients who come to Wellspring in a time of crisis are met with loving and caring staff and volunteers. All services provided are free to clients and include one on one counseling, presenting the truth in love, pregnancy tests, life sense classes, std testing, information on available resource in the area, provide sonograms to determine if there is a viable pregnancy for those who are struggling with their decision. Follow up calls/texts are made to clients letting them know they are cared for.
My wife and I have been supporters of this great ministry for many years. The impact of lives saved and people served through prenatal care, counseling, medical services, and 3D ultrasound images is profound. Churches are responsible for supporting their local Christian pregnancy centers as a para-church ministry to further life and the gospel. Every interaction has been full of grace and love. I have worked as a volunteer counselor for the Wellspring Life ministry's Bowie pregnancy clinic for 13 yrs now. During that time I have counseled over 350 women on all of their options during pregnancy. The amount of women's lives positively changed through the ministry's work has been amazing. They have served so many women in need by providing a compassionate, non-judgemental ear in a time of high stress for many, directing them towards free resources (sonograms, prenatal vitamins, STD testing, classes on parenting and breastfeeding, material aid) that can help them, and following up individually through their pregnancies. Everyone who works there has gone through extensive training and deeply care about helping all the women that walk through our doors. Our community is very fortunate to have this resource for pregnant women and I have been blessed to work there these many years.
I am a client that was served about 4 years ago! The clinic has been such a support system since I found out I was pregnant!! I am so blessed to have met such wonderful people throughout my journey of motherhood! I remember walking in their and feeling so scared and worried and they made me feel safe and helped me work through my options! They helped me realize I could do it! Having a child at such a young age is terrifying and they helped me through it! We still love to go to clinic events and be a part of this wonderful ministry! If you ever need a ear or just someone who’s not going to judge you go stop by the clinic! I heard my baby girls heart beat at the clinic for the first time and that’s when it all felt so real!

As a counselor at the Pregnancy Clinic, I've experienced the joy of talking with male clients who visit. At the time they are experiencing despair as they see a pregnancy as a situation that may put an end to their life as they know it. After reassuring them of the positives of new life they learn to consider the power of fatherhood. Also, letting them know of the supports that are available to them through the clinic, they come to know that things are not as dire as they anticipate. Much over the clinic provides avenues of training and resources that encourages family, something that today’s society is lacking. The Clinic has been especially a heartfelt ministry to me, because it gives back to society what is needed to sustain our beings as a human race, a nation, and a community to thrive under God’s hand as He intended. Hi, my name is Chris and I'm one of the Office Managers at the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry. When I took this job a little over a year ago, I had no idea what went on in a pregnancy clinic. Although I knew they provided free services to women facing unplanned pregnancies, I didn't realize the scope of the work they do. I'm amazed as I now see first hand the extent of care and practical help offered each day in our 3 locations - and for over 38 years!
Women are shown love, truly without judgement, by trained staff and volunteers that take time to actually listen to our clients and hear about their situation. We help empower and equip these women by sharing critical information regarding their pregnancy decision. This means we look at the whole person - the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of their choice and how it could impact them as an individual. This is not cookie cutter service, but personalized care addressing the needs and concerns of the unique person in front of us. And most importantly, we do this offering hope that transcends her current crisis - the hope found in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
I'm proud to be a part of this life-saving mission working alongside some pretty amazing people as we stand up for life. I pray we will continue to reach even more women so they can hear that they are loved (and their babies) and receive the help they need!
We have we involved with the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry for the last eight years. They are such a blessing to our community. The love and support they provide to young ladies who are looking for hope, compassion and answers to very important life changing questions. The nonprofit saved my baby and created a family. I was unable to afford a pregnancy test which is how we found the Pregnancy Clinic. They offered me love and encouragement and a viability ultrasound that changed my heart. That baby they showed me is now 6 years old and a big sister to two other girls! Her daddy and I got married and found God all because of this ministry
One of the things I most love about the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry is that they are authentic and genuinely care about the clients and train us volunteers to render the best care
possible . The range of services provided, including free educational classes, aim to meet the special and unique circumstances of each client. Over the several years I have been with the ministry I have served many women from different backgrounds. One client I had was pregnant with her first child, and had no idea what she wanted to do. She didn't know how her parents would respond, and wasn't sure if she was going to mention the pregnancy to the boyfriend because she wasn't sure what he would want to do since neither of them were the best financial situation to have a child. Not only was I able to serve her, and offer guidance, but the clinic as a whole was able to support her. The clinic provided a free ultrasound (3 free ultrasounds to be exact - an initial one by herself, one with her boyfriend, and after she told her parents, her mother came the 3rd time ), four free classes, one of which was a financial class she and her boyfriend attended together; and a baby essentials starter bag. The pregnancy clinic ministry offers support to women in unplanned pregnancy situations who need to feel loved, heard, cared about, and not judged; and that is why I continue to serve here.
The staff are professional in mindset, positive toward every person without partiality or prejudice, and impactful in the way they serve the community. The Pregnancy Clinic has a long-standing reputation of care and help to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies and sexual health issues. All services are free. The clinics have grown and expanded to three offices and more services over the years. It's great to have this resource for so many in the AA and PG area, that serves people in other counties as well!

The ministry has operated in the highest integrity,faithfulness, professionalism with compassionate caring for everyone that enters their centers. I refer clients there and I ask them for feedback from their appointments , every report says the same thing, “ it’s a warm, clean and caring place”. A great place to go when you’re facing a crisis pregnancy.
The Pregnancy Clinic is full of both staff and volunteers who care immensely for the clients that come through the doors as well as the babies in their wombs. Women facing crisis pregnancies will not only find free services that are helpful to them...they will also find genuinely loving ears to listen, share information, and direct them to resources they may need. As a newer volunteer, I can say that all volunteers are very well trained and treat clients as they would a member of their own family. We care for the health of both the mother and baby and work hard to insure that the client knows ALL of her options and is informed before she makes any decision regarding her baby. The information we share is constantly reviewed and kept up to date to insure that it is accurate, and the staff works tirelessly to provide support and free services to the community.
We are grateful for the competence and compassion that the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry has consistently shared with women and men in our area, and beyond. I became connect with BCPC years ago when I was contemplating abortion with my now 7 year old son. I’ve worked as a counselor with the Pregnancy Clinics of Annapolis, Bowie and Severna Park for over 5 years. The training all counselors and paid employees receive is some of the best in the nation. In 2001 was very depressed as a result of an abortion 28 years before when I was 16. By chance I saw an ad in a local newspaper for the Pregnancy Clinic. The Clinic offered a post abortion group where I found healing and peace.
The Clinic offers help for women and men who are facing unplanned pregnancies, std testing for women, and classes for clients.

The clients who come to the clinic immediately experience a warm, respectful staff who want to listen with compassion.....and no agenda. The clinic is staffed with professionals in the medical field, qualified to answer difficult questions and council those with special needs.
All of the many services rendered at the clinic, including ultra-sounds are of no cost to the clients. The pregnancy clinic has 30+ years, with an impeccable reputation of serving women in our community.
