Mission: Boston court is dedicated to creating and presenting works that are innovative, diverse, vital and adventurous in an intimate setting.
Programs: The theatre @ boston court (bcpac) performed 114 performances in our 99-seat theatre and 80-seat flexible performance space. We also showcased four visual art exhibits, and served nearly 7,000 people during 2017. Since our founding in 2003, we have produced 33 world premiere plays, including 2017's "the house in scarsdale: a memoir for the stage" by dan o'brien. Our 2017 theatre season won the polly warfield award for excellent season from the los angeles drama critics circle. Also in 2017, we launched a new emerging artists concert series, featuring six up-and-coming young performers, and expanded outreach to our community via master classes in public schools and by producing four free events, which attracted more 500 people to boston court. In 2017, 1,355 free or reduced price tickets were distributed.
