Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To mobilize active older adults as volunteers; encourage learning and fellowship; enable older adults to be active and enjoy living in their own homes as long as possible
Programs: Adventures in learning: series of classes run four times per year, plus an additional overnight educational opportunity. Adventures in travel - provided half-day, whole day and an overnight travel opportunity to areas of interest in north & south carolina. Fall fundraiser - generous donors are invited to an upscale evening event to hear about shepherd's center achievements and make a donation.
