We started sponsoring our "daughters" in 2016 and feel it might have been the best decision of our lives. We have been to Kajiado Children's Home three times now and could not be more impressed with how efficient and well run this operation is on TOP of how caring and compassionate the staff is with our children. We are so impressed and so proud to be able to be a part of this mission to give these children a new start on life. We offer many thanks to the Board as well as the onsite team who are all angels!
I’ve been involved with Kajiado Children’s Home since 2010. This year we were able to open our own school on the campus. This will provide quality education for the children at the home and for those in the community. This is a goal we have strived for many years.

I am proud to be a member of the International Board of Directors of Kajiado Children’s Home. I have traveled to Kenya 6 times for wonderful visits at the home with the children. The home is run by caring individuals where respect and love are given to all the children. They are happy, well-fed, educated and go to church each week. I am always amazed at how happy the children are! I sponsor 2 sisters who are now in secondary school and am so pleased that they can return to the home on breaks to visit the staff and other children. Hope for Kajiado Corporation has succeeded in maintaining a children’s home that is well respected in Kenya.
I really admire the passion and dedication of everyone at Hope 4 Kajiado. Their drive to help such a vulnerable community makes great difference in the lives of these kids.
I've been working with HFK for years. It's a great organization doing admirable work!

My family has been supporting Hope for Kajiado for the past two years. We're so thrilled to be a part of this organization. We are very careful about where we send money, but in our interactions with this team and the results we're seeing through the school, we are so thankful to be a part of it and to support it!
We are happy to be involved with this worthwhile mission. Helping children with limited resources overcome what "life" has handed them, and grow up to be successful contributors to their community is what Hope For Kajiado is all about. We have supported them for several years now and they have earned our trust and confidence. We are happy to see the girl we have been sponsoring grow up and now attend high school. We know that without this opportunity she could be one of the many young women living in rural villages with no education, and having children who grow up not knowing their potential. This organization is not only improving the lives of the children who come to Kajiado Children's Home. They are changing the lives of the next generation of children who hopefully will not know what hunger and lack of education feels like.

Hope For Kajiado continues to receive my support. They do a wonderful job of supporting vulnerable children in Kenya, keeping the volunteers updated and communicating to the donors. 100% of our donations go to Kenya unless we designate a donation to help cover the cost of their minimal operating cost. I like that I have a say in how my donation is used. I want to help the kids but I also know that even though the organization is run by volunteers who receive no pay, they still have operating cost for postage or their web presence. It's amazing they have been doing this for so long out of the Love Ya! for these children. I am proud to support this charity.
It is so fulfilling to know that we are actually impacting the future of vulnerable children in Kenya. It's even more fulfilling to talk with these kids as they express their goals and dreams and then over the years to see them realize these goals. Then, it's like icing on a cake, when we see alumni of Kajiado Children's Home make an impact in their own communities. They knew what it was like to be hungry. They knew how hard it was for a young child to lose parents. Now many of them return to help mentor the kids grown up here and help other children by covering school fees or though feeding programs. I am so happy to be involved with Hope For Kajiado.

I have been volunteering with this nonprofit for about a year now, and have enjoyed getting together with other friends to plan fundraisers to help support the kids at Kajiado Childrens Home. It is a very worthwhile cause and Hope For Kajiado comes to our church each year to give us an update. We get updates through email too during the year and that really helps know what's going on. I started sponsoring a girl a few months ago and have received a letter from her. She sounds very nice, polite and happy to be at KCH. I wrote her back and sent her a picture of my family so she knows what we look like. We keep her picture on our refrigerator so that we remember to pray for her each day. I really like the people I have met at Hope For Kajiado. They have a heart for these children, and I can understand why. I encourage others to get involved. It's a really good feeling to know you are really making a change in their life.

I tell my friends that if they want to support a non-profit which is transparent, communicates their successes as well as their needs, and ensures that your funding is used as it was intended, then Hope For Kajiado is the nonprofit to support. We have been sponsoring a boy for several years now and through an exchange of letters, have gotten to know him. He always says thank you and even quote bible verses for us to read. While I may not have gotten to know him as well as the kids in my neighborhood, I feel he is well taken care of at Kajiado Childrens Home, is happy and is getting what he needs to be successful in the future. We will continue to support this organization and have a high confidence level in them.

I have been to KCH with Hope For Kajiado and it was an eye opening as well as a "heart opening" experience. The kids there are so sweet and just want to be loved. The staff are wonderful and treat the kids like their own. I encourage everyone to support this organization and take comfort in knowing your donations are truly making a difference.
I've been financially supporting this organization and their mission for many years. I had the opportunity to travel with a team to Kajiado a few years ago and fell in with the kids and the teams directing their care. It's a hard mission, but I'm inspired by the work and the difference it's making in these kids' lives.

I visited Kajiado Children's Home (KCH) in June 2019 as part of a US mission team and had the great privilege to stay there for 6 days. I was especially impressed and moved by the incredible care and love shown by the staff to the children. The home is well-run by a team of caring professionals, cover a full range of needs, including: care, feeding, housing, tutoring, ministering, and fellowship. It was clear to me that the kids receive excellent care in a loving, Christian environment. I was especially impressed by the executive director, Jason; the lead pastor/grief counselor, Raphael, the lead social worker/academic counselor, Ruth; the grounds/building staff and everyone else who comes in from time to time to work with the home and the kids. While the kids carry a heavy load of grief at being orphans, they nevertheless are able to run, play and laugh with their friends thanks to the tireless work of the KCH staff and donors. Please consider supporting this important mission!
I spent a week at Kajiado Children’s Home on a mission trip with Cook’s Memorial Presbyterian Church. We painted the guest house, interacted with the staff and children on a daily basis: on the playground, at meal times, for programs after the evening meal, working with students on school projects, worshipping with them and simply talking with them person to person. When I was there, the preschool was just getting started. Since then, an elementary program has begun. There was a garden in its early stages and the beginnings of a chicken flock to provide eggs. There was one cow and the hope for more to be able to have fresh milk for them.
Part of the time we were there we surveyed the area to have a deep well dug to supply fresh water for the home, the garden, a hospital for handicapped children, a nearby development of homes built by apprentices from the children’s home and then a supply to be available for sale to people in the community. That well was completed a year or two after I was there and paid for. It has been quite an asset for the home and the community.
During my stay, we met some of the students who were helped by the home who had gone on to complete college and graduate work. Those students came back to the home to help and to inspire the children to have goals, to study well and to work hard in all of their endeavors. One of the great qualities instilled in the children is to take pride in doing mundane chores well. All of the children have chores to do. I observed them helping each other and being thankful for the opportunities this home presented to them.
The board of directors and the volunteers who visit the home and provide support for the staff and children do so at their own expense. Their enthusiasm for the children and staff is contagious! Hope for Kajiado does indeed provide hope and help for children who have been left homeless and orphaned. Lives are being saved physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually!
Thank you for your time to read this. I humbly request that you join us to pray for the ongoing work and accomplishments of Kajiado Children’s Home and those who are and will be inspired to help it grow and endure.

I have witnessed the Kajiado Childrens Home in action. The staff is dedicated to helping each child achieve all she or he can possibly do. The board of directors are all volunteers who love the children and support the staff, making tough decisions when the staff does not fulfill their responsibilities. The money donated to this organization is spent 100% for the children, the staff and the development and upkeep of the facilities. This is truly a ministry that demonstrates the love, grace and mercy of Christ Jesus giving hope to children who have lost their parents and other relatives to AIDS and other diseases that impact the Maasai Tribe in Kenya.
I heard about this organization thru a presentation at my church and immediately sponsored a child. I was so impressed by the care and love that is given to these children who are so much in need. I have flowed up and sent cards and small gifts to my adopted daughter in hopes of brightening her life. My friend has actuality visited this school many times and brought back news of how all these children are thriving with the care given by this organization.
Hope is exactly what this organization provides. Hope for spiritual, educational, and life skills enrichment. Hope for a bright future. Alumni attest to it, and staff and visitors see it in the day to day routines. It is a powerful resource for children to break free of poverty.
Transparency in all facets of operations enhances our good feelings about Hope for Kajiado.

Giving children who otherwise may not find a way, a way!
Appealing since 100% of donations are routed directly to Kajiado Children's Home.
We are new to this nonprofit having heard about it from our Pastor and his family who have visited there. As part of the mission team at our church, we have included Hope for Kajiado as worthy of monthly support. One of the full-time volunteers, Gaye List, visited our church to speak about all the ways children and families in dire poverty are impacted by this ministry. My husband and I found this information so compelling that we added it to our donor's list and also plan, God willing, to take a trip to Kenya to see for ourselves what God is doing in this difficult, drought affected, ray of hope area. May others join to help these orphan children to have opportunities to grow to the full potential God has given them.
There are not a lot of non-profits out there that I trust more than Hope For Kajiado. They really make a difference in the lives of these kids and they work so hard at it and receive no compensation for their efforts. They Love these kids and so do I! The kids are so appreciative of what is being done for them and they work hard at created a better future for themselves. The proof can be seen in the alumni. I encourage everyone to support this oranization.
Kajiado Children's Home is an impressive organization. Kids who had little to no hope, now have all kinds of possibilities thanks to caring people and an education. I have been a sponsor for several children and believe the home shows much love and compassion for kids. My dollars are well spent! I have visited the Kajiado Home on two separate occasions and come away in awe. Happy, well-rounded children! I especially like that my dollars are going to an organization who share my values in Christian foundations. One of my favorite activities is finding a letter from my sponsored kids in my mailbox - pure joy!!!
Hope For Kajiado are honestly one of the most kind hearted groups of people that we have ever met. Their unwavering dedication to the well-being of the children at KCH is evident in every aspect of their work. They ensure every child at KCH knows they are loved, they are safe and that they matter. Hope For Kajiado serves as an inspiration to us all and they are an incredible example of the true power of community and what we can do when we all work together to uplift the lives of others.
I was fortunate enough to travel to Kenya to Kajiado Children's Home and witness firsthand the impact that Hope for Kajiado Corporation is having on these children. The children were delightful - happy, loved and taken care of. The staff at KCH serve as loving caregivers as well as good role models for these children. Hope for Kajiado Corporation is volunteer run and financially supports the Kajiado Children's Home. I came away impressed with the Kajiado Children's Home and fully supportive of Hope for Kajiado.

Thanks so much. We are so happy to have you as part of our Kajiado family now. May God bless your kindness!
Hope for Kajiado is such a caring organization. We donate money each month to help care for two brothers, and in return we receive letters written by the boys letting us know how they're doing . I truly feel like our money is being well spent and appreciated each month.
H4K makes a WONDERFUL contribution to the educational, physical, and social needs of these beautiful children. They learn self-esteem and how important it is to support one another. They are healthy, inspiring, smart, and compassionate young people. I don't know how their program could be any better.
Our support for Hope for Kajiado has brought our family such joy over the years knowing that all our contributions really do work to help these orphaned children in Kajiado, Africa. Several years ago, we had an opportunity to visit the home and saw how efficiently everything is run by the staff. We were also able to see the joy of the children who once were orphaned and now living in a joy-filled Christian home. It's been a blessing for us to be part of these childrens' lives through our support of Kajiado Children's Home.

Several years ago our family began sponsoring 2 teen girls at Kajiado Children’s Home and we soon developed a true desire to know them better. In 2018, we went to Africa and were able to see firsthand the kind of impact this organization and its staff were having on these precious children. There was something so moving about the thankfulness for the simplest of things and the joy these children seemed to carry with them.
Hope fo Kajiado reminds me of the biblical example of the mustard seed, one of the tiniest of seeds, which can become the largest of garden plants. Like the mustard seed, Hope For Kajiado is a tiny organization, but its impact in Africa goes far beyond what others would think possible.
If you are considering giving to a charity, Hope For Kajiado is the best I’ve found at getting the money provided to work for those intended — orphaned children in Africa.

Thank you Donna, for all of your work on the board of directors. It is a labor of love, I know! After meeting the children and seeing their faith and hearing their dreams, its becomes so worthwhile!
Hope for Kajiado Corporation visits the children's home regularly. It always looks it for the welfare of the children and staff. All of the donations go to the home.
Hope for Kajiado uses all of the proceeds to support the children. Board are volunteers. They provide updates, pictures, and letters from the kids. Great org .
This organization is helping orphans create a better future for themselves by providing loving care, education and medical care. This makes a huge difference on their life
I was able to personally visit this Children's Home in 2016. The facilities are well managed and the children happy and well taken care of. One comment: As we were reporting for an evening meal, the Matron was checking each child before they entered. One small boy was not very well put together. She bent down close to him and sent him back to the dormitory to clean up and be ready for our meal. He came back after straightening out his clothes and washing his face. She smiled at him and he came into the meal. This touched my heart as to how kind she was and she did not embarass the child in any way. That is a simple example of how people are taken care of. It is a quality place and no money is wasted there.

I was able to visit this Children's Home in 2016. It is well managed and the children are happy and productive there. There are many needs. A contribution or a sponsor for a child is a true blessing. Our church choir sponsors a child and we enjoy watching him grow and develop love for Jesus Christ.
A truly worthy cause to improve the world.
Hope for Kajiado is an amazing organization that gives 100% of donations and sponsorship funds to provide the spiritual, physical and educational needs of orphaned children in Kenya, East Africa. Your contributions directly impact the lives of these children. Having visited Kenya twice, I have witnessed the impact that this organization has had on countless children as they have grown and developed into amazing youth and young adults.

I have been involved with Hope for Kajiado since its inception in 2014, and have been the sponsor for a child at Kajiado Children's Home in Kenya since 2011. Our name speaks for itself in that we strive to provide HOPE for generations of Africa's most vulnerable orphaned children through physical and spiritual nourishment. These children are welcomed and given life's most basic needs that many of us take for granted. Hope for Kajiado takes great pride in that 100% of sponsorship/designated donations go directly to KCH to cover shelter, food, education and most importantly loving care for each child. We are a volunteer led organization so our overhead costs are minimal, such as licensing and an internet presence to share the story of the children. We are thankful for designated donors who cover these costs. Other designated donations for capital improvements such as a water well, garden greenhouse, facility repairs and improvements at KCH ensure they can provide continued care, safety and security for the children. I have traveled to Kajiado Children's Home in Kenya, and have witnessed firsthand the difference that generous contributions from people just like you have made over the years. In the span of five years between my visits, I witnessed small undernourished and timid children who (at the time) were new additions, grow into healthy, confident and joyful children who thanked God for the opportunity to create a better life for themself. Your contributions make a incredible difference in their life. Children who have grown up at KCH over the past twenty years are now successful educators, accountants, ministers, radio personalities and many more proud alumni of Kajiado Children's Home. They are leaders in their community who give back to their society, and are thankful to you for having had the opportunity to break the chain of poverty and disease in their life. Join us and make a positive difference in the world.

Hope for Kijiado does an excellent job of staying in touch with information about the children and the facility. Because their focus is on this one children's home I feel much more connected to the child I sponsor than I do with one of the larger, worldwide agencies.
This is a well managed not-for-profit organization, where 100% of the monies received benefit the Kajiado children and the mission of this home. It is hands-on and personal. All involved in this enterprise have the heart for this personal work, without ulterior motives. I am grateful for Hope for Kajiado's contributions to humanity. They make our world a kinder and more loving environment. My sincere "thank you" to all involved. Well done.
Such a wonderful organization! From the administrative piece to the on-site staff, just amazing hearts who always put the children first.
I have visited Kenya with this organization and have seen for myself the difference it is making in these children's lives. They are thankful and are full of joy. What a wonderful opportunity to make a difference. May God bless your work.
Wow! I can't say enough good things about Hope for Kajiado. I came to the organization very skeptical. Having participated in and researched similar programs in the past, I was concerned that, although well-intended, rescuing children from poverty is easier said than done. After attending a mission trip with them, I was blown away by the work they are doing.
What separates Hope for Kajiado from other Kenyan orphanages and child sponsorship programs is the dedicated, flexible approach to meeting each child where they are. If a child is with a loving guardian who simply can't afford school fees, then H4K steps in to provide the financial and practical support without removing them from a loving, supportive environment. If a child can safely return to their village for holidays then arrangements are made, but if a child has nowhere to go, they are provided wraparound care.
What sets H4K most apart is that 100% of my donation goes directly to the care of the child. Traditional child sponsorship programs can mean much of a donation goes towards creating and maintaining the connection between the donor and the child. Often it's hard to know how much if any actually goes towards meeting the child's actual needs. Hope for Kajiado facilitates the relationship between child and donor, which is an absolute blessing for both, but through volunteer support. The only staff who receive a salary are the local caretakers in Kajiado, Kenya. All fundraising and administrative work is done by a group of dedicated board members and volunteers.
The outcomes Hope for Kajiado is able to achieve in Kenya are unparalleled. 70 of their children have gone from abject poverty and little to no education to graduate college, and their academic outcomes for all children are way above average. Again, it goes back to their individualized approach. If a child is not doing well in a school, they are moved to a different one. Plus, they provide individualized tutoring 5 days a week. They are considered the gold standard in orphan care and enjoy a fantastic reputation in Kenya, and I am so delighted to be part of their wonderful work. So wonderful to know that my charity dollars are making a real difference in the lives of Kenya's most vulnerable.

Kajiado has a special place in my heart. Just returned from a mission trip with my family. Kajiado is a warm, loving place for kids who have experienced a tremendous amount of loss. The Kenyan staff is dedicated to providing a family like atmosphere. Unlike other children's charities, I am able to form a genuine connection with my sponsored kids.I was able to talk to their social worker regarding their familial situation and their tutor about their academic progress. I can email them, send them birthday presents, and we are very much encouraged to have a relationship. This is in stark contrast to other child sponsorship programs I've been a part of. Because it is a smaller organization, every child is known, cared for and loved.
We have been sponsoring children at Kajiado Children's Home for 6 years. We really enjoy reading the letters we have received from the children. They are genuine communications, not just a form letter. It is so nice to see how their writing skills improve with each letter.
As board members, we appreciate the meetings to discuss the needs and care for all the children.
It was great to hear the Government of Kenya looks to Kajiado Children's Home as the gold standard of an orphanage.
I’ve seen first hand the value Hope for Kajiado provides for the children of east Africa. Children with no resources are provided housing, nutrition, education and spiritual enrichment to break free of poverty.
I love this organization! Four or 5 years ago (time flies!) I met Gaye List as I was looking for non-profits that work with children and women. She explained the work that Hope for Kajiado does with the orphans in Kenya. I then had the opportunity to visit the home in Kajiado, Kenya and met the children and the wonderful people who support these kids. I started out sponsoring one child and now sponsor 3. I can't do much to change the world but if I can somehow help just these 3 kids have a little better life then I've done something. So contributing to this organization is as much for me as it is for the children. I think my small contribution gives them hope and I know they give me hope for a better world. Hope for Kajiado is run by a volunteer board and they are very open with how the money is spent. I trust these people completely and know that every dollar that I give goes to the welfare of the children.

Kajiado Children's Home is a special place that is full of love. I've had the good fortune to be involved with supporting this organization for years and have visited once. Thank you Rita. What a joy it is to share the work of this mission with folks who become such wonderful friends. That's one of the many blessings we receive when involved with Kajiado. Thanks for everything you do for these children.
Hope for Kajiado cares for children who have no stable family home. Two years ago they visited our church and brought photographs and biographies of children who needed support. This is when I saw my Florence for the first time. ❤️ I agreed to send monthly support to this little precious child. I receive updates from Kajiado and letters with drawings from Florence. Receiving these letters are always a real blessing. I am amazed at the level of care the children receive with the small amount I send. I want everyone to know about Kajiado. I can’t imagine what would happen in this area if this lovely place were not there. God bless Kajiado.

Kajiado Children's Home is so blessed to have you in our extended family. Thank you for your constant prayers and compassion.
Scripture tells us in Matthew 25:40 that Jesus said, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
This verse is alive and thriving in the hearts of the staff and volunteers at the Hope for Kajiado ministry in Kenya. Since the Children’s Home opened in 1997, hundreds of children have been given every opportunity for a better future as they have received shelter, food, clothes, medical care, and education in a loving and supportive Christian setting. Many have gone on to college or successfully completed training for their career choices. Former residents often return to mentor the new members of this very special community, and it is hard to imagine a more powerful testament to Kajiado’s success than this willingness to give back in return for what they have received.
Hope for Kajiado has been part of our commitment to mission at Hamilton Presbyterian Church for four years. The profound dedication of its board members and staff to helping break the cycle of poverty while introducing children to the love of Jesus Christ is a perfect fit with our vision statement of “Growing Disciples, Changing Lives. . . Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.”

Many thanks to our church partners! It is so wonderful to share God's Love with these children. We couldn't do it without you!
My Realized Vision
I have dreamed of visiting Africa for at least 15 years. But never in my wildest imagination did I expect to experience the spiritual inspiration, generous hospitality, and profound learning with which I was so richly gifted. Feeling immediately embraced by the leaders and students of the Kajiado Children’s Home, witnessing their natural instincts and learned discipline to support each other, and absorbing the beauty of the country impressed me with a beautiful memory that I will forever cherish.
I was one of nine Americans who arrived for a week of Mission Exchange with the enthusiastic, curious, and intentional friends who welcomed us to Kajiado in the summer of 2019. (I use “exchange” to express that common wonder of how we received more than we gave). From all the adults to the youngest child, there was a pace of receptivity and genuine compassion that communicated a congenial greeting without even a word needing to be uttered. I felt caught up into a constant stream of joy and thanksgiving in walking as a guest on their sacred ground. We held hands, played games, sang praises, accomplished projects, and shared meals, all within the scope of what felt like a constant holy adventure.
Our hosts functioned in extremely simple living conditions: using only cold water carried from a pump, experiencing sporadic power outages - possibly as they prepared in the dark to go to school, enjoying delicious but repetitive meals of rice or potatoes with beans, mixed vegetables, and occasional chicken, and using an outdoor concrete slab with two basketball goals for recreation. None of this even touches the loss and/or brokenness of family support that impacted these children. The school supplies and soccer balls that we delivered were distributed sparingly, apparently to help them last longer. But it was simply amazing to watch how they all shared, made sure everyone had equal access to whatever was needed, and treated each other with respect and appreciation. They poured their hearts into worshiping God, and could have sung and danced all night if it had been allowed. Pastor Barasa, all the teachers, and the extended staff provided constant structured sustenance, and spontaneous celebration in the unfolding of each day. The monthly birthday party may have been a scheduled event, and the joy predictable, but it still exuded remarkable fun and surprise for a first time visitor!
Certainly, a Mission Trip like this is graced and guided by the Holy Spirit. But I felt absolutely amazed by the extreme coordination of our fearless leader and the deep commitment of our supposedly random circle who came together for this experience. International travel usually includes some obstacles. And we had some. But the overwhelming result of every connection was seeing doors open to new learnings and profound amazement at the great horizon of God’s world. “Thank you,” Dear Jesus, and each of my new colleagues, as we share the very tangible network of ministry with the Hope 4 Kajiado Children’s Home!
May the Peace of God dwell in all our hearts and minds, always,
Lynn Thompson Bryant

Thank you Lynn. Sharing this mission trip experience with my pastor made this week even better!
My husband and I sponsor two children from Kajiado plus our Sunday School class sponsors another child. I think our money is well spent and our dollars are making a difference in the lives of these children. The truth stated, is that we as sponsors, have so much, and yet at times are not satisfied. These children have so little, yet are joyful and full of the Spirit. I have visited the home on two separate occasions and have personally seen what the Board and Staff are doing. The children are well fed, educated, responsible and are taught the love of God. While meeting basic needs is important, I personally think the Christian element is essential.
My husband is a Board member. Documentation of minutes and meetings, financial statements, and audits (independent accountant) are timely. Board members receive no salaries for their time. In addition, Board members lead multiple mission trips at the members own expense, are active in fund raising and have meaningful relationships with ongoing projects and staff and keep sponsored families aware of happenings with their sponsored child. Letters are exchanged between the sponsored child and the sponsored family. This is a well-run organization. I am fully supportive of this organization, its goals and values. We are called to offer words of encouragement, to advocate for the less powerful and to serve others. Through this organization, hope is shared and lives are changed.

I have traveled to the Kaijaido Children’s Home, Kenya, Africa on two separate occasions. Such an impressive operation! One of the reasons this mission hit home was that seeing the home personally, changed my life. The mighty power of the Gospel appears more real in a country that has limited resources. My own materialism seemed to fade away. After seeing how little others have, it really puts life in perspective. First hand viewing helps one reevaluate your own needs and see how happy and content others can be with what most of us would call “poverty” –instead, I saw hearts of gratitude for the blessings they have.
I have many memories to relive of the children and staff I met. Mission trips help one see the needs and opportunities abroad and the experience touches one’s heart. When these kind of trips move from your mind to you heart, everything changes, including how you spend your time, energy and resources. I am confident that my dollars I donate are wisely spent. The staff and children are well taken care of – physically, emotionally and spiritually. The children are absolutely beautiful. I love hearing their voices raised to God, praising Him for all they have. I have confidence in the management of this facility and give them my thumbs up!

I have been involved with Kajiado Children’s home for several years now, sponsoring two sisters that came to the home at a young age. It has been such a joy to see them grow and mature over the years. This is such a loving, nurturing environment for the children providing for growth of their bodies, minds and spirits. 100% of my donation goes directly to the care and support of the children. It is a joy to be a part of this wonderful place!

Thank you Norene! Sharing the Love of God with these kids and each other enhances and blesses all of us!
Experience joy! Through a mission trip sponsored by Hope for Kajiado, I visited Kajiado Children's Home (KCH) in 2018 and experienced amazing joy. KCH is home to 80+ children who have no family member who can care for them. And yet through the trials, joy shines through. The caring staff at KCH feed the children and attend to their medical needs. The children go to school and receive additional tutoring if needed. They laugh and play together! There's joy upon joy when they worship together Sunday mornings. I was so impressed with the mission of Hope for Kajiado, I joined the board when I returned to the US. My hope is to return to Kajiado Children's Home (after Covid-19) with some of my kids so they can experience the joy of the children of KCH.

Thank you John. Your hard work on the board and the love and kindness for these kids shows what a wonderful person you are! May God continue to bless you as we care for others.
Our church has supported Kajiado for many years now and we have watched it grow. Our church adopts children there and watches them grow from small children to adults and we have seen what a difference it makes in their lives. When we first started supporting them they had no running water but we raised money and applied for grants to be able to build them a well. The children are so grateful for anything we do for them and it is a pleasure to be able to work with this Home for children.

Thank you for your Love and kindness shown for these children. We could not do this important work that God has called us to do without your support. May you continue to receive God's blessings as you bless others!
We sponsor one of the many children cared for and loved in this home. So many children do without the basic necessities in this country. This home uses 100% of your donation and gives it back to the children. Here they are given a place to live, are educated and loved. These children have a chance to grow up and get a job. To thrive and to give back. Can not say enough about the wonderful staff and volunteers that keep the Kajiado Children’s home going.

Thank you so much for your continued support. These kids will. never forget what you are doing for them. They are so appreciative of your love and care. God bless you!
After going on my first mission trip toHope forKajaido, I could not help singing the praises of this incredible home for children. The feeling I have now just helps me realize the beauty that exists in the world and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.

We are so blest to be apart of the KCH. Hearing what our sponsored child learns and knowing they are in a safe and loving environment is priceless. My husband has had the opportunity to go twice and stay at the home. To see it first hand is a life changing experience. My children and I have said the next time he is able to go he can’t leave us behind! I love this organization and it’s great to know 100% of our money goes to the children.

Thank you Heather. We are so lucky to share your love with these kids! You are a wonderful addition to our Kajiado family and such an example for your own children. Thank you for all you do "behind the scenes" to help the children with clothing, etc. We don't know what we would do without you! God bless you!
What a wonderful organization! I haven’t had the pleasure of personally visiting the orphanage but have been blessed to provide financial support. The team of dedicated volunteers who manage the operations and finances are amazing individuals and I’m proud to be a part of this! Keep going!

I have been incredibly impressed with how well Hope for Kajiado is run. The amount of care offered to the children given the small amount of money donors spend is impressive. The finances are clearly managed well on top of hiring wonderful people in Kenya to offer day to day support. In my visit to the orphanage, I got to see it all in person and realize how special Kajiado Children's Home really is.
Not only does The Kajiado Children's home enrich the lives of the children within it's own walls, it extends its reach to others. For example, while looking for a way to empower my students to help others, I discovered the work of the home being done in Kenya. This led to a meaningful service learning partnership between my Elementary School and the children's home. Each year the 3rd graders in my Art classroom lovingly craft little ceramic bowls and hold an Empty Bowls sale in our school community. Funds raised through our Empty Bowls Project have helped provide a fresh water well, gardening supplies, classroom equipment, and more for our friends in Kajiado. Our current goal is to support the addition of solar panels to provide electricity. This partnership has allowed my students to experience the joy of helping others and has given them the opportunity to erase distance and cultural barriers in order to develop understanding and friendship. What could be more powerful? Please join the loving students of Pineville Elementary School in supporting their friends, the loving students of Kajiado Children's Home.

Thank you Mary, for the Love shown to these children over the years! You have certainly made a wonderful impact on their life and have been a wonderful example to your students as well!
Kajiado Children's Home is a new passion of mine! My wife and I have worked in the jungles of Papua, Indonesia (west New Guinea), for 44 years as missionaries, but when my friend, Larry Rupp, who had a large part in the establishing of KCH, invited me to visit this Home in Kenya, I accepted, came, and have been hooked ever since!
This Home meets a huge need, and I see a lot of situations here similar to those we have faced in the remote parts of Indonesia. So, when I was offered a place on the International Board, I readily accepted. I have already met, and made many other contacts, with a lot of alumni, and I am encouraging them vigorously to build a strong alumni association, to make the Home more indigenous, and provide alumni with avenues to be more involved in the Home.
My wife and I will soon semi-retire, so I am looking forward to being more involved in KCH, particularly helping to see a proper spiritual emphasis maintained, even with the heavy demands of other physical needs. I would encourage people hearing of the Home to consider a financial investment here (an investment for eternity)! I believe with sufficient donors from outside, and growing financial participation from alumni and other local sources, the Home will flourish and grow, with great benefits to the children served, and the Home and this ministry will bring much glory to the Lord!
Sincerely in Christ,
Roger (and Suzanne) Doriot, CrossWorld in Indonesia

I'm so impressed with the work Hope for Kajiado is able to do with very limited funds. They truly will stretch the dollars donated, and we're proud to be monthly supporters.
My first visit to Kajiado Children's Home (KCH) 15 years ago changed my life and opened my eyes not only to the need of orphans, but to tangible ways to care for them in a way that truly makes a difference. Over the years I have watched KCH grow and develop under the leadership of local Kenyans and through the support of those outside of Kenya (I.e., Hope for Kajiado Corporation). Last summer I traveled again to KCH with my wife and our 3 teenage children--what a joy to watch my own children also gain perspective on the needs of others and grow hearts of care as well
Hope for Kajiado is God send based on the kind of work I have seen them handling. I was raised at Kajiado Children's Home. Here the orphans are given good care compared to the live outside, which come with tough challenges, that destitute may not be able to escape without somebody leading them.
As an orphan, I missed having a mom and dad whom I wished to see talking to everyday, and provide the essential needs. But I appreciate Hope for Kajiado very much for intervening and changing my life completely, after I was given parental love, shelter, clothed, taught about my relationship with God, and taken to school.
Now I have cleared my graduate degree in microbiology (Ph. D) and I'm happy I will be Independent and also be able to give back to the society, by pulling other destitute children behind me to acquire education and change their lives just the way mine was changed. Therefore, I feel that Hope for Kajiado has honestly done a commendable job with God's guidance and it's the best non-profit organization for less fortunate children in Kenya, East Africa.
Cathy.
Hope for Kajiado is a wonderful organization which, with a very low overhead, helps destitute children who would never receive an education or a chance to advance without their help. They help one child in a family who helps another and another, pulling the family out of poverty. During this process they show unconditional love to the children and teach them about the love of Jesus. A wonderful organization.
A few years ago, I decided to sponsor 2 children (a brother and sister)from this amazing home after hearing the stories from my fellow church members that had visited this wonderful place. I love receiving the letters from the children. Hope for Kajiado it truly a great organization that cares for these children.
Hope For Kajiado makes such a huge difference in so many children's lives. This school offers a safe, healthy home and school in a loving, Christian environment for the children that are lucky enough to have the opportunity to live here. I am so glad that I can be a part of this wonderful chance to make a positive difference in these children's lives. I am privileged to sponsor two sisters and be considered part of their extended family
Found this organization thru my home church. Sponsoring an amazing young man. He is so grateful for Kajiado and loves our family. We exchange pictures and letter and we discuss his hopes and dreams. I’m even able to buy him Christmas presents. What a great feeling knowing you are the difference in a child’s life. The facilitators of the nonprofit could not be more loving!!! They give their whole hearts to the children and work diligently to improve the lives and opportunities for the home.
I am proud to be associated with this organization. The volunteers in leadership positions really care for the children. Other volunteers who help out in other ways, make it possible to send 100% of sponsorship dollars to the home. God keeps opening doors for us. Opportunities keep presenting themselves. And yes, it is a commitment of time and resources. But I truly believe we are making a difference, and we are doing what God would have us to do to take care of these amazing children.
I have had the pleasure of visiting the home and have seen the wonderful environment that has been provided to the children. The children are well-cared for and are happy to be there. The board is made up of dedicated volunteers. 100% of donations go straight to the home. The home is run efficiently by people who sincerely care about the needs of the children. I am pleased to be a donor to such a fine organization.

I have been involved with this charity for 10 years. Since then we have made tremendous progress. We are now a recognized and successful charity in the US and Kenya. We have provided funds for a deep water well providing clean water for Kajiado Children’s Home and ensuring sustainability for the home and it’s residents. I have had the opportunity to visit the Home several times and am continually involved in fundraising efforts in the US.
My family sponsors a young boy at this Children's Home and have a close friend who serves on the Board for this organization. I plan to visit Kajiado for the first time this Summer and look forward to having a chance to directly participate in a building project that will benefit the kids the make Kajiado their home. I have always been impressed with the character and professionalism of all the leaders of this organization that I've had the pleasure meeting over the past several years and take great comfort in knowing that the children who live at the Kajiado Home are receiving 100% of the funds that are donated to this great organization. The Tucker Family
We've been sponsoring children via this nonprofit for many years. It's got a clear mission, great communication and allows interaction directly with the children - we are able to send letters, receive routine letters and even send backpacks and small gifts once a year for our two sponsored children!
We have been sponsors of Kajiado Children's home for over ten years. This home takes in orphans who are the poorest of the poor in the Kajiado district in Kenya. They are given an education and a home where they are encouraged to know and love Jesus. I have watched the children grow up over the years and know the difference the home has made in their lives.
We have been sponsoring two children at this wonderful place for years and get frequent updates from them concerning their success!
It has been my pleasure and joy to support Reusi Jermiah. I have seen him grow from a snaggle tooth, very shy 6 year old to a confident 12 year old. He is a good student and writes me wonderful letters with his drawings included. In him I see God's work.

Hope For Kajiado is a wonderful organization that directly helps children who have literally nowhere else to go. You can see your money go to the benefit of the children, not to so called administrative costs or to solicit more donations. This organization benefits the children and only the children as all non-profits should, but sadly do not.
We love this Charity. It’s a non profit childrens Home in Kenya. We currently sponsor a child who lives there and 100% of the profits go to helping him and the Home.
We sponsor two brothers who live at Kajiado and have been so blessed. We have multiple contacts with them each year, through letters or videos, and are really developing a relationship with them. So wonderful to see our money go to a cause that TRULY changes the lives of orphans in need. We’re honored to be a part of Kajiado!
I have been involved with Kajiado Children's Home since 2010. After my first trip I saw the need and desire to become more involved. I became a member of the International Board of Directors and have helped with many fundraisers and spent time telling others about this wonderful home. The home provides a safe life and future for some of the most desperate children of Kenya. The corporate board is working towards providing even greater growth for the benefit of this home and its children. Since becoming involved with Kajiado Children's Home we have accomplished much including providing funds for a deep water well and will continue to work towards making this a home recognized as a safe and influential organization in Kenya.
I have been a volunteer with Hope for Kajiado since it began. It has made a significant impact on how I view helping others. I never understood before getting involved with this organization how much of a difference one person could make on the life of a child. It is different from my volunteer experiences at the local school and at church. In 2010, I started sponsoring, communicating and watching the children grow up at Kajiado Children's Home. I know I have helped to provide them with the necessary essentials to learn and grow, but I have gained so much in my personal awareness and faith. I feel that there is a mutual blessing as we developed the relationship with the children and staff at KCH. I have been lucky to have visited several times now and have seen first hand how our donations are truly creating a better tomorrow for these kids. I encourage others to help do what they can, and be assured that our donations are having the biggest impact. I also encourage you to sign up for a mission trip. It is a profound experience and you will end up leaving a little of your heart in Africa.
