Mission: Thedeep listening institute, inc. , is committed to the support of all aspects of the creative process for a worldwide community of artists. The foundation encourages and supports selected artists' projects and collaborations, furthers research in arts technology and sponsors the exploration and uses of art for the education and development of human consciousness, making the results available to the public. The artistic areas of concentration are music, literature, performance arts and creative collaborations. The foundation seeks to promote the integration of all aspects of human experience into the artistic process in a supportive and inclusive manner.
Programs: Dli provides a context support structure and technology for artists creating new works in traditional and digital media. Dli programs include publications, recordings, commissioning of new work, salon and festival presentations, residencies for artists, assistive music technology and training for its use. Dli kingston encourages emerging, local, national & international artists in creative and performing arts by providing digital recording & editing studio, rehearsal space to work on proposed projects.
