It is a pleasure to work with Beth and working for women and support the incredible non-profits in their network. Volunteering through Working for Women provides incredible growth and networking opportunities for professionals. I am pleased to continue my partnership with Beth and the team at W4W and support organizations in the Philadelphia area.

This is a well-run shelter that lovingly cares for a variety of animals who are in need of a home. The shelter is clean and the animals are well-cared for. They have an excellent facility for cats, which allows them to free-roam and also to have some time outside in an enclosure. The shelter receives so many cats, they recently opened a second room. They are very involved in the community and succeed in finding animals homes due to their endless outreach. This is a wonderful shelter to support financially or otherwise!

I needed help getting social security. Family of Woodstock dragged me for 3 years, not filing paperwork. I finally cut ties with family of Woodstock and secured an attorney on my own and now everything is moving smoothly, except for the fact a family of Woodstock tenent punched my wife in the face. I called family of Woodstock numerous times prior to the incident about harassment by their tenent. They did absolutely nothing.

Inexperienced staff. No idea how to deal with bullying,, and our daughter had heat exhaustion on a day they decided to spend 3 hours outdoors while there was a heat warning advisory. Our daughter was very clear to them that she was feeling like throwing up and their answer was " you have no choice". We pulled her out after 7 days (due to they negligence) and they only refunded us $380 out of $1000 and they insisted that they did nothing wrong even though our daughter was at the hospital due to the heat exhaustion. Basically, highway robbery. Will never send our kids there again, and if you care for the wellbeing of your kids, avoid the east end location on highway 15.

HORRIBLE!! I was aa first assigned time home buyer counselor very rude delivery for any questions being asked on what rupco does or and how I can do my part as a first time buyer was horrible. i paid $100 for a course that if I did not ask I would have not known this was available. I did not know how this program work counselor seemed very annoyed all 3x I spoke with him about questions did not want to help very short and dry and negative in all he says to applicants. will not take any x-tra steps or just provide information to assit then he speaks almost yelling over you when you are requesting assistance I had to email and ask to receive my certificate of completion of course I spoke with a supervisor said they will change my counselor i will receive a call iam still waiting. why he is part of the rupco team not sure why ? his work ethic is disgraceful and very poor. so I wasted my$ 100 on a course and now what! what's the next step ? I was so angry I stated to cry this poor creation of a man talks to you like you are beneath him because we are asking for assistance i am a single mom work for corporate office over 12 years i can assist in training for proper phone etiquette if need be still waiting to see how we can move forward.

I have been a volunteer @ Northwest compass for almost five years. Its so inspiring to be a part of this organization. I see 1st hand the need out there and how passionately they respond to a clients needs from a homeless teen to people who dont have enough to eat. They tirelessly work to help clients and no one gets turned away.<br> It opens one's eyes to the need out there and how they respond

This foundation helps with various Shoes Project, Aqueduct Project, etc but I first came into contact with One drop of Kindness when I lived in New Paltz during my freshman year. I have volunteer at various homeless shelter through out my life, wherever i have landed over the years, i always liked volunteering at homeless shelter. I have volunteered at this Chiz shelter partly through college program and i started going there sometimes during week days. There was a tibetan singer who was there almost every Wednesday (this was maybe 5 or 6 years ago) actually comes and engages with the residents. I really liked that she was there trying to engage with the people, although her English wasn't the best but people understood her. Only thing that i remember is that people were smiling and happily singing, dancing, and sharing stories of their life. I really needed that, i went more and more on wednesdays. I was going through tough time at school/home with family situation. I spoke to her afterwards and I found out that she has non-profit that helps Tibetan people, single mother, children and elder in Tibet, India, and USA. <br>I will say that over the years her work at the shelter as well as with various people me taught me how we valuable basic human connection, especially those at the shelter who have been marginalized by our society. <br> <br>I think her work in the Upstate NY is incredibly beneficial for those especially those in need of human connection. <br> <br>After year and half I have volunteered on and off for this organization. I've been recently very impressed with a local TNR project addressing strays. This organization shows admirable consistency in their approach to animal rescue. The group continues what they have always displayed, namely a very high level of knowledge, professionalism, and good practice in its dealings on all fronts -- with donors and with the community of pet owners and rescuers.

Congratulations on your 20th year serving the HIV Community

I currently am battling stage 4 metastatic cancer. This organization headed by Hope N. Has been incredible for me both spiritually as well as educationally. I know i can rely on BCO for direction and compassion and real 'speak.' Because of Hope, I have been able to have the support of others who battle the same disease everyday. I consider myself to be very blessed to have this organization within Hudson Valley.

UCHS is a privately sponsored historical group. The mission is to provide education on the importance of Ulster County history and it's role in the forming of our nation. This is accomplished through preservation of historical items and documents, development of educational programs for schools and the general public, and stewardship of the Bevier House Museum in which the UCHS has its headquarters. We are developing programs for outreach to other historical groups in Ulster County,which we hope will help coordinate the vast amount of information in the area and provide means of serving the public in locating these information sources. Our open season is May through October, weekends only, but school programs are offered for most of the school year. Our funding sources are through paid memberships, school programs, grants, and corporate and private sponsorships. The Society was formed in 1853, and incorporated in 1930. The Society moved into the Bevier House in 1935 and opened its doors to the public in 1965.
