Mission: The counseling center promotes and enhances the mental health of individuals, families, and groups through a comprehensive range of prevention, rehabilitation and treatment services designed to meet individual and community needs.
Programs: Mental health treatment for individuals and families:-counseling and pyschotherpy for adults and children - 11,530 hours-diagnostic assessment/psychological evaluation - 1,781 hours-24-hour crisis intervention - 3,531 hours-psychiatric assessment/psychopharmacological management - 4,273 hours
community education and prevention services:-information and referral - 79 hours-mental health education -219 hours-mental health consultation - 748 hours-prevention (child assault prevention, school-based intervention,-suicide prevention, parent education, family support, etc. ) - 5,206 hours
rehabilitation and recovery services for severely mentally disabled adults and severely emotionally disturbed children/youth:-community pyschiatric support - 16,628 hours-home-based intervention - 1,586 hours-residential support - 3,059 days-residential treatment - 6,394 days-employment - 1,321 hours
