I am extremely thankful for Life's Little Adventures Farm. They are located several counties away from my home, yet, after 40 plus phone calls to shelters, rescues, APLs, nursing homes, etc... they helped me with a bad situation. I fed a cat that had been abandoned by the previous tenant at the home I moved into. She had kittens. I paid for the certificate to have her fixed. She got pregnant again before I could catch her not feeding babies (which a vet told me you had to do). And the kittens kept coming, then, they had kittens. We were up to 13 outdoors cats!!! Neighbors got angry because the cats hung around their homes and businesses. It was becoming costly to feed 13 cats. I lost my job a year ago and have been unemployed ever since. Times are hard. I have been going to a food pantry monthly all this time. Bills are all behind. Can't feed ourselves. Melissa at the farm was so sympathetic to my situation, she took the cats to be fixed and adopted so they could have a better life, and, so a tremendous pressure would be taken off of me. I was so impressed with her knowledge and skills, and the wonderful work that is done at the farm that I now am working on fundraising and grant writing for the organization. The Equine Therapy program is a wonderful thing, and I hope to see it grow in the future, both to rescue the horses, and for the tremendous work it does to help differently abled children and adults. God Bless Life's Little Adventures Farm!
