I had the best midwives attending to me when I went into labour. They were there anytime I called and took care of me before , during and after labour. I would recommend Obaatanpa Womens Hospital anyday and anytime . And thank you for the gift (baby blanket) , it’s really beautiful

Obaatanpa Women's Hospital is one of the best places to volunteer.
I have learned so much in the organization since I joined. I am a better person at client relations, and interpersonal relationships and my skills have improved tremendously as a result of the teachable spirit of Dr. Laing. She has such a sweet heart

I went to Obataanpa Women's Hospital with a lot of apprehension because I did not know what to expect. The sensitive and friendly manner of the doctor after my adverse diagnosis of endometrial cancer made me calm and purposeful in working with doctors to do all the needed tests to get me ready for a hysterectomy. Each professional involved in prepping me for surgery explained clearly to me what to expect, and when I was struggling to stay still for the epidural, the surgeon explained gently why I had to stay still and said I could squeeze her hand instead. After surgery, I truly came to appreciate the teamwork effort required for a successful surgery and post-operation recovery. In the four days I stayed in the hospital, teams of doctors, nurses and other medical personnel worked round the clock to keep my pain down, encourage me to take short walks, explain my symptoms and offer solutions. No requests were considered too trivial for attention. All in all, I benefited from top notch subsidized life saving medical care. This is a rare and valuable privilege for us women who live in the developing world.
