Mission: Formed in March of 1998, The Center for Medieval Studies was an instant success. In our first 8 months our handful of volunteers brought our historical demonstrations to over 4000 students. This year the demand is increasing and we are forced to raise funds for a full time staff. Our presentations are made in full medieval costume and armour. Students are allowed to handle various artifacts after the demonstration. This hands on approach has been very popular with students and teachers alike. These presentations have always been at no cost to the schools. We rely on public support for funding.
