Mission: The mission of the organization is to provide educational and recreational programs for children, adults and families which help them develop as healthy and participating members of the jewish and secular communities, locally, nationally, and internationally. The organization does this by integrating the themes of: 1. Personal growth and the development of positive self-esteem; 2. Creating cooperative communities through social group-work process; 3. Tikkun olam, partnership with the natural world; and 4. Positive jewish identification and spirituality.
Programs: Summer camp, quests & teen service learning - the organization provides activities, group skills development, cultural and religious programs to approximately 1,235 children ages 7-17.
family/adult camps - provides meeting/social space for members of the jewish community to interact as families, and cultural, environmental and religious activities for 217 persons.
educational activities - presents environmental learning programs for about 106 jewish day schoolers to meet state educational requirements in state history and environmental studies.
