Since its founding storefront has presented the work of over one thousand architects and artists.

Storefront's physical gallery space produces shows that range from single artist site- specific installations, to thematic collaborative exhibitions. Events are hosted at the gallery and at partner sites worldwide, and associated competitions, publications, and projects address diverse critical issues that shape the future of the built environment and public life.
storefront served as the commissioner of the united states pavilion at the 14th venice architecture biennale in 2014 with the project officeus. Officeus was a live working experimental architecture office that presented a contemporary history of us architecture firms operating on a global scale. The project was dedicated to research, presentation, and publication of us architecture abroad over the past century. Resident fellows, visiting experts, and the public were invited to reimagine and rethink the projects presented in the pavilion, articulating aspirations for the future of architecture and the built environment.
