I have been supporting Save the Children for the last 5 years. I am grateful that there are organizations with staff that are so committed to those in need of help. The impact that they have made with children in remote parts of the world is astounding. Keep up the amazing work. For anyone that is trying to decide on a children's or if they should support a children's charity. I strongly advise supporting Save the Children. Dave from Boston
I’ve sponsored many children over the past 20 years, usually 2 or 3 at a time. They write me charming letters and draw me pictures and I get such joy out of knowing that I’m actually doing something toward the betterment of their lives. SAVE THE CHILDREN is quite simply a marvelous organization. Think about joining us!
I learned about Save the Children through social media and decided to become a sponsor for 3 girls around the world. This organization is doing wonders and I’m so grateful to be a very small part of it.
This organization is amazing! I have been contributing for awhile now. I am very impressed by the missionto save all children. They are all precious and deserve our protection and love! God Bless each and every child and volunteer! ❤️
Save the children is my top charity its the best at saving children when I’m ever asked why I give to this charity I say When I do good I feel good that’s my religion prayers are empty words without action I pray for everyone so I do my best to help everyone LIFE IS NOT about being RICH, being popular, being HIGHLY educated or perfect.... it IS about being REAL being KIND being HUMBLE and following the Golden rule the best you can when you can and taking action by doing whatever you can whenever you can to help anyone less fortunate
I've been a sponsor for more than 35 years, and continue to be impressed by the amazing work this organization does to help children and their communities throughout the world.
I have been fostering a beautiful little girl for over a year now. I previously fostered another girl from Zambia who reached adulthood and aged out of the program. This organization not only provides help for the child but for their family and community as well. The most important thing they provide is hope. Hope for an education. Hope for a brighter future. Hope to someday make a difference in those around them. Your small monthly donation goes a long way.
We all got extra bread laying around and we buy bs we dont need. How about we share it with these kids.
Save the children is a first-rate Class Act! I've done my research they really impact the lives of children globally!... or should I say we impact the lives of children globally because this is a family a family of love. It does my heart well to know that I can be a part of an army that fights the good fight. I'm a disabled veteran on a fixed income by the 6th or 7th of the month I'm already down to a couple of hundred bucks to last me the rest of the month... and I gladly give to save the children, and I'm looking another expense I can do without so that I can take on one more child to help each month. One thing I did was, I stopped buying bottled water I bought a really good filter that I can put on any bottle and that saves me about $60 a month... enough to sponsor two children.
We have sponsored many children over the past 20+ years, have watched them grow and have witnessed the positive impact that Save the Children has in communities in the U.S. and around the world. We chose Save the Children because we knew that it was highly rated as a nonprofit and that most of the funds went to programs--and also as parents we thought it was good to be an example of giving back for our son. As these things often work out, it has been a wonderfully positive experience for us, too!
Working at Save the Children was a great experience. Everyone had a big heart and an open mind.
Save the Children is an amazing organization to work with!! I was privileged to be able to intern with such passionate people who really embody the organization's mission and are eager to hear new ideas/input from their interns and volunteers. The entire climate at Save the Children is welcoming, innovative, and inspiring. The intern/volunteer program offers so many valuable opportunities, from workshops to networking events to meetings that we were invited to sit in on - the chances to learn more and make new connections were endless!
I interned at Save the Children US in the Summer of 2018. I was on the Health Systems Strengthening Team in the Department of Global Health, where I worked under Eric Sarriot to conduct a literature review of monitoring and evaluation of social accountability mechanisms for health. As a college student interested in international child health, this was an invaluable experience for me. Further, working on the health systems strengthening team really helped me view global health in a different, more systems-focused light, and stressed the importance of community health to me.
Not only was my formal internship experience wonderful, but the community in the D.C. office was incredible as well. There was a lot of programming specifically for the interns, which helped us form a community and prepare for our careers, and every Save employee I met was an absolute pleasure.
I had a great time volunteering at Save the Children! Everyone that I met at the organization was truly passionate about their work and saw the good that it would do for children all around the world. As a volunteer I worked closely with my manager each day attending meetings and contributing to projects. I also worked on my own project throughout my internship and got to present my insights to senior management. Save the Children is a truly amazing place to volunteer!
I just signed up to be a part of a second child's journey thru Save the Children and couldn't be happier that I did! No matter how strained my work day may be, I just think of them, their faces, their joys and I become renewed! Thanks Save the Children!
I truly believe in the power of setting an example. Supporting the outstanding work of Save the Children over these last 10 yrs has most certainly influenced my daughter to go into international service! Thank you Sabe the Children!
Honestly, what better way is there to increase understanding, thereby increasing the chances for peace, than by helping and communicating with children and their families around the world? I now have three sponsored children ~ one in El Salvador, one in Egypt, and one in the U.S. ~ and their pictures and letters vie with our son’s on the refrigerator door!
I’ve watched two little girls in Bangladesh grow to teenagers. Interactions with them and the organization’s worker bees have been amazing. I started with Save the Children because they are nondenominational and help entire communities without promoting a religious agenda. I will always be a part of this effective and loving organization.
I have sponsored a child for two years. Save the Children keeps me informed as to how many donation helps not only this child and family, but the whole community. More of my donation goes to the child than many other charities.
I support Save the Children because of the widespread and global assistance for low income people and children. Everyone deserves a reasonable start in life. Save the Children enables them by giving them a push. They always update me via postal mail, email and text message.
I was a summer intern at Save the Children and it was a really incredible experience. The team I was with was super accessible and made me feel at home immediately. Everyone I met at Save the Children was so friendly and welcoming. I was particularly impressed by Save the Children's manager mentor, who were employees from other departments who were willing to speak with interns about their careers.
