My Nonprofit Reviews

I interned at Save the Children US in the Summer of 2018. I was on the Health Systems Strengthening Team in the Department of Global Health, where I worked under Eric Sarriot to conduct a literature review of monitoring and evaluation of social accountability mechanisms for health. As a college student interested in international child health, this was an invaluable experience for me. Further, working on the health systems strengthening team really helped me view global health in a different, more systems-focused light, and stressed the importance of community health to me.

Not only was my formal internship experience wonderful, but the community in the D.C. office was incredible as well. There was a lot of programming specifically for the interns, which helped us form a community and prepare for our careers, and every Save employee I met was an absolute pleasure.
