In 2009 my daughter told me she had been accepted as a volunteer with “Save the Children”, and was going to Gaza City in Palestine. Her experience was, of course, life changing. When she told me about the work she was doing and how the organization delivered care and comfort to children in a war zone, I became committed to supporting Save the Children for the rest of my life.
