Mission: Repertory dance theatre is dedicated to the creation, performance, perpetuation, and appreciation of modern dance. The organization's programs are designed to nuture artists, inspire artistic collaboration, impact community, and engage audiences to make meaningful connections about life, art, and humanity.
Programs: See schedule o during fy17, the organization completed the following program accomplishments: -5 home season concerts (11 public performances) at the rose wagner performing arts center in salt lake city, ut, including the following: october 2016: lan; november 2016: brio; january 2017: emerge; february 2017: regalia; dabke: april 2017) reaching 2,830 people. -9 free matinees for utah students and teachers k-12th grade reaching 3,159 people. -season 19 of ring around the rose, a monthly family-oriented arts appreciation series, featured 10 unique artists and groups from september- may, reaching 1,542 people. -a total of 9 unique performances throughout the wasatch front, playing an active part in utah's cultural development and reaching approximately 3,962 people. - 2 unique performances of flight for doterra essential oils at the vivint smarthome arena and salt palace convention center, reaching approximately 27,000 people. -rdt's link series presented 4 individual shows by three artists/groups reaching approximately 1,027 people. -rdt presents showcased ate9 dance company from los angeles, ca. Reaching 144 people. -approximately 3 weeks on tour in 4 states: washington, south dakota, wyoming, and utah, reaching 8,809 people. -759 hours of arts-in-education instruction (movement classes, lecture- demonstrations, teacher workshops, and choreographic services) to utah elementary schools, junior highs, and high schools at no charge reaching 24,599 students and 1,208 teachers. -rdt's dance center on broadway offered 11 weekly classes reaching 4,129 people over 50 weeks of instruction. -70,243 people served with all rdt programs - in and out of state.
