Mission: The bruce irons camp fund (bicf) provides residential summer camp experiences, year-round enrichment activities, and mentoring for five consecutive years starting in 5th grade to low-income, high potential charlotte mecklenburg schools students who demonstrate strong academic effort, leadership potential, and good citizenship.
Programs: We provide summer camp experiences and follow-up enrichment activities, and mentoring for charlotte-mecklenburg public school students who have limited financial resources and demonstrate strong academic effort, leadership potential, and good citizenship. We send approximately 100 kids per year to summer camps during their 4th-9th grade summers.
