Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: To improve and enhance the educational experience the school provides to alexander graham middle school students and to provide support to the school's students, faculty and staff.
Programs: Instructional materials and supplies - the agpta paid for a variety of instructional materials and supplies for use by students and teachers including: books, lab manuals, agendas for students and teachers, media center supplies, computers, software and printing supplies.
student support and activities - promoting school spirit and involvement with student incentives and awards, outreach activities, team-building and other extra-curricular activities, recreational sports equipment, after school clubs, and providing facilities and transportation for sports teams.
school support - the agpta supports the school by paying for various campus maintenance and improvement projects, staff appreciation events and other major efforts to maintain and improve staff morale, scholarships for the staff pursuit of certification or advanced degrees, informational events for current and prospective parents and production of a student directory.
