Mission: To identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural and cultural resources of the city of pasadena through advocacy and education.
Programs: Public tours and events related to architecturally significant structures. The public and members toured historic buildings, cultural institutions and other treasured landmarks and were made aware of the importance of preservation.
advocacy: advocates for the preservation of architecturally significant building structures and sites; seeks alternatives for endangered buildings; and writes landmark nominations.
oral history, referrals, consultations, and other activities: records and publishes the personal histories of long-time pasadena residents, assists building owners with restoration projects and referrals, administers the preservation easement program for 82 historic buildings, trains volunteers for a variety of service opportunities, provides information on its website and in its library, and provides other services and assistance to the public.
