Mission: Ncg recognizes that the challenges facing our communities are complex, entrenched and interconnected, and developing the necessary solutions requires engaging a broad range of partners.
Programs: Member engagement/programs: building the capacity of our members. Ncg offers a range of professional development, educational and skill-building programs to members with special attention to new programming for administrative, grants management, fiscal staff and senior leaders. Offerings include perennial favorites such as the new grantmakers institute and the financial analysis workshop series, as well as new programming
collaborative philanthropy: serving as a hub for collaboration. Ncg has successfully launched multi-funder and cross-sector collaborations and partnerships. Leveraging our experience in fostering successful collaborations, ncg explores deeper ways to connect, convene and initiate action between members and others on critical issues facing northern california.
advisory services: providing capacity building and technical assistance. Leveraging staff expertise and deep knowledge of best practices, ncg offers customized in-house trainings, consulting and advisory service for members.
