Programs: The northeast indiana innovation center (niic) is a nationally recognized best in class and comprehensive entrepreneurship resource center dedicated to accelerating the growth and development of innovative businesses and increasing the likelihood of their success. For over 17 years, the niic has fostered an entrepreneurial community that aligns and leverages the four pillars of venture success - capital, talent, workspaces and networks. Since its designation as a certified technology park by indiana state statute, the niic's client companies have generated over 105. 2 million in payroll, produced over 2100 full-time equivalent employees, launched nearly 424 products, applied for or been issued over 167 patents, and secured over 42. 3 million in research grants and 41. 8 million in third party outside investment. Today, with nearly 215 knowledge workers on our innovation park campus, the niic is the regions largest and most diverse entrepeneurial ecosystem in our region.
