It was the third project I had the pleasure to support at Bepeace, after Rodim and Siento it was now program aimed at supporting family companies in Salvador and Honduras. I. have quite some experience with this type of companies since Rodim and Siento are family owned and my work experience for several decades has also been focused in multi-generation family enterprises. I was supported by Debora from Bepeace, she did an extraordinary job, organizing, commenting, explaining, clarifying and I would like to thank her from my heart. She managed the infrastructure prepared by Bepeace to help us arrive at learning experiences not only for the four leaders who participated but also for me. Once again I am happy to have participated and hope to have contributed positively to the participants.

Flint Global is one of the most transparent, thoughtful, sustainable, and impactful organizations I have given to. Their programs are thoughtful and appropriate for all of the different contexts where they work, they promote local leaders and local solutions, and they serve all kinds of people with dignity. The work they are doing in entrepreneurship and workforce development is making a sustained and multiplying impact, and is making the best use of my investments.

Renaissance has been a great help to me in my personal life as well as my development as an entrepreneur. They have helped me to better understand the process of business plan development and the importance of business incubation. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the office is in a great location downtown, and the opportunities they provide are unmatched.

I entered the Denver ScaleUp program at a time when my business needed to make critical decisions to enable growth. We were recovering from trying to do too much with too little and were re-establishing ourselves as experts in nonprofit fundraising. During my BEN Day at the end of the program, I was able to share this journey, and the positive feedback I received came at exactly the right time. Hearing that there was both a need and a vast market for our services gave me the encouragement I needed to move forward with confidence. At my Denver ScaleUp graduation, Mick approached me about our work with nonprofits and shared that BEN was reactivating its nonprofit arm with a renewed focus on demonstrating social impact in Colorado. The alignment was perfect, and I was all in. Today, Working Within is proud to partner with BEN Colorado to ensure funders recognize the incredible work they’ve done and continue to do for Colorado’s entrepreneurs. We serve as a walking testimony!

The team of Friendship Bridge in the US and Guatemala is extraordinary! Big smiles, kindness and professionalism are a few things you can see in any interaction. It was so impactful to have a spontaneous conversation with someone from Guatemala recently, and hear all the different ways the community has changed and is doing better through the support that Friendship Bridge provides in that town. The Families in that town have been able to build houses, understand the importance of education and many of them had improved their lives by learning finances and the importance of supporting small business owners. "A Lifeline for Syrian Families"<br>As someone whose family has benefited from Syrian Forum USA’s programs, I cannot thank them enough for the life-changing support they’ve provided. After the devastating displacement, we felt hopeless, but SFUSA stepped in with education programs for my children and job training for me. Today, my kids are back in school, and I’ve started a small business thanks to their economic empowerment grants. They didn’t just provide us with aid; they gave us a path to rebuild our lives with dignity. SFUSA doesn’t treat us like victims—they treat us as partners in building our future. I am eternally grateful for their support.

As a donor, I was very impressed with the CEDA organization & its staff for their prompt response, creativity, transparency, effectiveness focusing on the most vulnerable women in society. Every dollar donated was spent on beneficiaries with no administrative expenses with volunteers doing much of the work. I’ve seen firsthand testimonials of beneficiaries describing how their lives were impacted for the better in a short time period with help from CEDA. They don't truly help people they over talk you on the phone and are very argumentative and are very uncaring. They don't let you explain anything and I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to them anymore. I had to hang up on them because they wouldn't let me speak.

I've seen many people including me, get positively impacted by Dorcas Destiny International mainly women and children who come from less privileged families. This is a heaven-sent organization to help the less fortunate in Kenya. God bless DDI.

This is an excellent organization that empowers women, children, and families to strive for higher education, better living environment and building healthy relationships. I had the privilege to volunteer for this organization in 2007 and witnessed how lives have changed through the dedicated work that HSCV provided to the communities in northern Vietnam. I believe HSCV's work is essential and valuable in breaking the cycle of poverty for many families today.

My name is Victoria Lewis and I am a small business owner in the state of Arizona that has been suffering greatly. At so the step, the the system and systemic racism horrifying non lending of small businesses that are double minorities. And I was just horrified but the level of treatment that I received from this this. Disgusting firm;<br><br>Title: A Disappointing Encounter: Review of the Arizona Microcredit InitiativeI recently reached out to the Arizona Microcredit Initiative seeking assistance for my struggling small business. What ensued was not only disappointing but also deeply troubling.Upon contacting them and spending over half an hour on the phone, I expected guidance and support tailored to the unique challenges faced by small businesses like mine. Instead, I was met with blatant racism, horror, and disgust. The representative provided nothing more than what any standard bank would require for a loan application, completely disregarding the complexities of my situation.As a small business owner grappling with severe underfunding, disability, and vulnerability, I had hoped for empathy and constructive feedback. However, the Arizona Microcredit Initiative failed miserably in this regard. Their lack of understanding and support left me feeling even more marginalized and victimized.It is appalling that an organization purportedly dedicated to assisting struggling businesses would exhibit such callousness and incompetence. Their failure to provide genuine assistance only serves to exacerbate the challenges faced by small business owners in Arizona.In conclusion, the Arizona Microcredit Initiative is nothing more than a sham, offering empty promises and replicating the same requirements as traditional banks without providing any real help or support to those who need it most.

This organization is terrible to work with. Since changing from Accion to A4CB, their reviews have been absolutely terrible and they would realistically be at 1.9 star out of 5 star on Google since the change. I submitted my documents, there was an issue with inaccurate reporting on my credit report. Because of the inaccuracy, I paid $4,800 to pay off the one loan early although I had already been paying in advance on the loan. I was told the use of prior bank statements would not be an issue, then they changed their story and drug this out another 3 months. Now they are coming up with new excuses during the slow time of year for our business. The staff isn't nice, the first meeting seemed like a burden. I can't believe this is a non-profit.

I enjoy being a part of All About The Bay. I’ve met people in various health and wellness fields to network with and gained an excellent fitness trainer on my team through this network. A great group with positive professionals to learn and grow with.

I get to see a lot of nonprofits in my work. Camelback Ventures is one of the few I have chosen to actively work with, and I have not been disappointed in that choice. The organization lives and breathes its values both internally and externally. They aren't perfect but they are an incredible example of an org that is willing to actually engage with the complexity and tensions involved in the work of anti-racism. They know there are no 'silver bullet' solutions. Their work supporting Black and Brown founders bettering society is not performative--they genuinely care about their fellows and are there for them through thick and thin. If you're interested in giving to a Black-led org, serving leaders and communities of color then, as someone who has seen behind the curtain, I have no hesitations recommending Camelback Ventures to you!

I'm a minority, queer owner of a small business that is doing well. We need funds for the next step of getting a lease, equipment, inventory and employees. I applied for a loan and the application UI system is amazing. But the process was terrible. I had to do this back-and-forth to get help and after two months, they denied my application. <br><br>The wording was vague but from my understanding, they denied it because I don't have a long debt history and because I have debt. So I believe they wanted me to have debt but denied me because of debt. But my only debt is our credit card but that has been paid on time.

Mentors International is a great organization! I have personally observed the balanced approach of facilitating it’s mentees and students to sustainable self-reliance. The model gives emphasis to one-on-one mentoring, education, and financial solutions and is amazing. The organization centers on data which measures actual IMPACT in the areas of Income, Savings, Debt, and Mindset Change. Moreover, I have observed the quality and dedication of it’s administration to stay focused on the mission of the organization and to pay attention to 'data-based' results and outcomes, not only heart warming stories of success. I recommend serious consideration anyone who wants to join this nonprofit in lifting others out of poverty to self-reliance.

An update is important. The organization has ceased to exist and has continued it's work under it's sister organization, Vecinos "Neighbors United. Vecinos "Neighbors United was created in 1989 while Vecinos United Community Development Corporatin was incorporated in july of 1994. it became impractical to have two organizations both capable of accomplishing the same goals, and due to lack of staff our filing lapsed for our Community development Corporation.<br><br>The Organization's work continues. It's Central theme is VECINOS UNITED "THE HUB FOR SOCIAL CHANGE". Allthough it'swebsite is underconstruction, you can Visit it at: vecinosunited.org <br><br>The negative review above was only an angry person who had a desk donated to the organization. After years said it was his and it was a loan. He threatened to destroy the organization and apparently that review was his effort.<br><br>
