Mission: MATFA is a youth based program that works with youth incarcerated in the California Youth Authority from the ages of 13-18. We also have another institution in Chino with youth from the age of 18-25. MATFA mentors these youth, does a moral study, life skills on how to apply what they are taught in their daily walk of life. MATFA does family planning with these youths and their families once released from prison. We have a drug and rehabilitation program, job training program, job placement program, financial planning program, book writing program and the SOCAR program, (Saving Our Children At Risk.) The SOCAR program goes into the Long Beach Unified School Distrit to work with youth who are at risk of entering our judicial system. These youths are from the ages of 10-17.
