Mhcc's recovery programs follow evidenced-based curriculum, wrap and support groups focused on samhsa's wellness initiatives, which include the eight dimensions of wellness.
supported employment: a samhsa evidenced-based model offers direct job placement and personalized, ongoing support services. We work to: 1) establish community employer relationships2) expedite placement3) visit work site for continuous reinforcement4) decrease visits to acute care services and homelessness while creating economic independence.
peer assisted liason (pal): the pal program unites at risk adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness with certified recovery peer specialists facilitating:1) mutually supportive relationships promoting recovery2) help restore function and quality of life3) prevent recurrent crises, hospitalization, incarceration, and homelessness
