Mission: The organization is a nonprofit preservation partner of the san francisco municipal railway (muni) in preserving historic transit in san francisco. The past, present, and future of the f-line historic streetcars and national landmark cable cars are the focus of our mission.
Programs: Educatemsr seeks to enlighten about the key role that transit played in the history and formation of san francisco. Future generations will have the opportunity to better understand and know themselves by insights into that past; thus san franciscos museums in motion.
advocatemsr plays an important role in realizing line extensions and new service, service enhancements, maintenance of existing service, and creative approaches to focusing on historic transit in san francisco.
celebratemsr seeks to foster the experience of historic transit by facilitating opportunities for members, residents, visitors alike to enjoy and celebrate the pleasure and fun that the streetcars and cable cars bring to san francisco.
