Mission: The organization's primary purpose is to provide affordable professional counseling from a christian worldview. It also provides education and personal enrichment opportunities through seminars, workshops, and retreats. It seeks to strengthen the christian community by working to strengthen families, improving relational skills, assisting in spiritual renewal, and improving all aspects of mental health.
Programs: Provided affordable professional counseling from a christian perspective. Served 670 clients of all ages. 64% of the clients received reduced fees based on the sliding fee scale which is based on household income. Some of these clients were able to see a supervised intern at an even greater reduced rate. The full fee of $130 is average for similar services for this area. Averaged 114 counseling sessions per week. Staff members spoke in multiple churches, schools and at retreats on a variety of topics. Provided a suicide workshop for area pastors and youth workers. Participated in a sports camp for elementary aged children (300 kids) and an fca high school camp as well. Provided counseling support at both of these events. Staff offered multiple groups to men and women based on diagnoses or similar life circumstances. Volunteered 50 hours of counseling in september and october for hurricane victims who temporarily relocated to ft collins.
