Mission: The mission of johnson & wales university (jwu) is to provide an exceptional education that inspires professional success and lifelong personal and intellectual growth.
Programs: In fy 2017, jwu enrollment at its 4 campuses (providence, ri; n. Miami, fl; denver, co; charlotte, nc) and online learning program totaled 15,063 students. (13,805 undergrads and 1,258 graduate) jwu awarded 4,857 degrees including 1,554 associate's, 2,744 bachelor's,523 graduate, 15 doctorial, and 21 certificates. Jwu employed 510 f. T. And 521 p. T. Faculty throughout its college of culinary arts,college of management,college of arts & science, college of engineering & design and college of health and wellness. 3,482 students participated in 11-week internships; 31% of jwu students who reported their parents' educational attainment were the first in their families to attend college, 89% received institutional aid, with an average aid of $13,929 per student. Institutional scholarships exceeded $167 million.
