Mission: The mission of YouthBuild Preparatory Academy (YB Prep) is to prepare young people ages 14-21 for post-secondary education, career and leadership in a global society.
Target demographics: to provide alternative pathways to high school graduation and beyond.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 50 Providence out-of-school youth.
Geographic areas served: Rhode Island
Programs: Workforce development for 36 out-of-school youth that provided academic, job readiness, and occupational skills needed to make a successful transition into the construction and other high-growth, high-demand occupational sectors.
