Visiting Nicaragua was deeply meaningful, but meeting Xochilt after 4 years of sponsoring her was unforgettable. What started as a small act grew into a special bond through letters and connection. Spending time with her and the other children reminded me how much even the smallest gestures truly matter. Seeing their joy, especially during a simple ice cream treat was incredibly moving. Empowerment International supports every aspect of a child’s life, creating real, lasting impact. To the teachers, organizers, and volunteers thank you! And Xochilt, meeting you was the highlight of my trip. I’m so proud of you 💛

Operation Support Our Troops America is a great organization to volunteer for. Preparing and helping organize the supplies and packing the boxes to be shipped overseas is rewarding and fun. I have personally met two soldiers who have returned home and were so appreciative for the packages from home. I also have brought my grandchildren who love to help. I have met some great people and we have a lot of fun. It has given me a great outlet. My Dad, Husband and Brother all served in the Army and I believe they are all smiling in Heaven that we have this organization to support our troops. Ann Forcash

I have worked with Strategic Business Institute for over 3 years and have been very pleased with their ability to enhance my teaching skills. I have taught for 27 years and wish I had their help years ago. They have assisted me to show and give my students skills to think creatively, critically and be high-achievers. This organization is top-notch and will have a lot of influence in the future. I highly recommend them.

This organization is really helpful especially for scholarships for university and college. They support also STEM curriculum an institutions practicing STEM.<br>They supported us with computers and office equipment.

My experience with Hope for Single Moms stems from my longtime, trusted friendship with the founder of this organization. I've worked closely with Carla Ludwig in various projects over the last three decades. I can tell you that when Carla commits herself to a project, her God-given passion and perfection fly into action, leaving no stone unturned. Hope for Single Moms reveals that passion and perfection. The young women whom Carla has taken under her wings are mentored through their child-raising journey. Children are loved and cherished..... as they should be. Carla has opened the doors for desperate moms who want to do what every mom wants -- to raise their kids in a loving and secure environment.

Although this nonprofit has continued to award fellowships and grants for students and faculty at 35 (or so) small private colleges in central Appalachia, it has cut opportunities (such as year-long fellowships) in order to provide money and reduce workloads for administrators at the participating colleges. And the current ACA president devotes little time to fundraise to increase the size of the endowment and expand opportunities for the faculty and students served. The board (presidents of the participating colleges) seem to have endorsed the practice of expanding benefits for the ACA employees and academic officials at member colleges while reducing benefits for the beneficiaries for which the nonprofit was established.

I had the opportunity to participate in AIR RALLY 2020. I had been studying Accessiblity since the summer of 2020. This competition gave me the opportunity to apply all I had learned. I was teamed up with 2 wonderful developers from Austin, who were all new to accessibility. To our surprise, our small but mighty team "Digital Diversity Divas" won 3rd place out of 35 intertional teams!! We could not have done it without our Australian mentor - Herin H. and all the support and training that Knowbility provided! Knowbility has continued to feed my passion through their authentic courses as I progress in my accessiblity journey to help make the web inclusive for all. I now will offer more accessibility services and can no longer build non-accessible websites or content. As a fellow student wrote, "My organization's website doesn't seem so appealing now that I view it from an accessibility perspective. It's beginning to look like "re-heated leftovers!!" As I become more proficient, I will volunteer with Knowbility to give back for all they give to our world. Knowbility has confirmed my passion and that I am where I am supposed to be. I recently gave a talk introducing Accessibility to non-accessible business owners. I love all the KNOWBILITY staff who do this from their heart. After learning of Dr. Deming in the 1980s, I was fortunate to meet him in 1990 (see handshake in photo) and later attended his last Four Day Seminar in December 1993. Sitting to my right, throughout this seminar was a Rabbi, who sat quietly all day, for 4 days, praying for Dr. Deming. In asking the seminar organizer why a frail Dr. Deming, now in a wheelchair, was delivering this seminar, the Rabbi learned "you don't understand, there is no place Dr. Deming would rather be." What I gained from Dr. Deming on these two occasions was the start of a personal transformation, to which I credit Dr. Deming and those who he worked with to launch The Deming Institute. It was an honor to serve as a Board Member for 12 years and then a full-time staff member for 2.5 years. There is no organization I would rather donate my time, money, and energy to than one dedicated to the aim of enriching society through the Deming Philosophy.

My husband and I joined Bergin University ten years ago as puppy petters. A "no brainer" when it sounds like the easiest job on the earth. Who wouldn't want to pet puppies? We graduated to being foster parents for student's dogs who needed a quiet place while their student was not able to take them home with them on summer, Thanksgiving or Christmas vacation. We have also fostered several pregnant breeders. We've lost track of how many "grandpuppies" we have over the years. We look forward to fostering our 27 th dog for them.

Daystar U.S. has been a great steward of my donation dollars, ensuring they are spent on efforts that will make a great impact in Africa. They are very communicative about where my money is going, and have a great grasp on the African context. I've been able to hear many stories about how investing in one student can eventually grow to being an investment in holistic change in a community. These students are better equipped to make a difference in Africa than many Western transplants or organizations.

I have been associated with IOU Foundation for over 5 years and have closely observed their work. Whether the cause is to restore the environmental balance in Myanmar or to provide educational support to unprivileged children in Sierra Leone, IOUF has done it all. Their actions resonate with their vision of bringing social change through sustainable practices.

P.A.C.E. provides a unique real world arena for our students to put theory into practice every day.<br><br>Although all students succeed at differing rates or levels, each is capable of growth and movement toward living safely and productively in the broader community. P.A.C.E. at NLU encourages, supports, and instructs students in their efforts to reach their ultimate goal of independence.<br><br>While at P.A.C.E., all experiences are important in the growth process. Students are taught to balance between work, play, and responsibility. Challenges are expected, and serve as a platform for teaching and learning. As volunteers for an international outreach committee of our church since 2011, we have come to know some key leaders, staff, and volunteers of Congo Initiative, both in the U.S. and in Beni, Congo, including the extended Kasali family, Cullen Rodgers-Gates, Kyle and Emily Hamilton, and members of the current Board of Directors. This is a truly amazing and transformative initiative in a troubled nation by people who truly love their neighbors. In the past few years, the Bilingual University of Congo has made amazing physical progress, adding solar energy, completing its community center (with four new classrooms for training over 300 more students), adding faculty for research, theology, and psychological counseling, and developing a new law degree program. Most importantly, Its graduates have become leaders and advocates for human rights, improved agriculture, communications, and community development, to name a few of their accomplishments. USM is life-changing, experiential work. It is, by far, one of the greatest gifts I could ever have given myself. The processing I learned to do while at the University (10 years ago!) continues to help me grow,and to authentically give back. Imagine a world where each of us clearly remembered what we were meant to bring to the world - our divine purpose. What if we were easily and naturally practicing our brilliance, our joy, our authenticity, our own unique form of Spirit Embodied, as a way of life? That mindset, that commitment, is what I personally learned from the University of Santa Monica, and what I continue to integrate in my everyday life experience.

Students are Capable of More<br>www.lssu.edu/foundation<br>I support Lake Superior State University (LSSU) with my time, talents, and treasure. It is amazing to see day in and day out what the students are capable of accomplishing. What is even more exhilarating is knowing that they are capable of doing twice as much if given the support and resources. There is a fund at LSSU that supports student centered projects by allowing them to apply for grants; this is the fund to which I donate. These grants allow students to travel to present their work and receive accolades, complete research projects, utilize classroom lessons in the real world, and so much more. The depth and breadth of projects/causes students are passionate about is astounding. Their passion translates into action and then success. I am inspired to give because this is a pivotal time in their lives - college is a time when students figure out what they love, what they are good at doing, and that they can do more. The day you realize your potential, when you realize you are worth more than you thought, is life-changing. This is why I give.

Giving to a Place that Gave me so much<br><br>I always knew a college experience to be a special thing but the college experience I received at Morgan State University was one like no other because of the support I was given openly through out my matriculation. While a student at Morgan I experienced several traumatic experiences in my personal life that made college difficult. Issues such as homelessness, mental and substance abuse issues, and incarceration of a family member where just some lived experience. But the financial and emotional support received from Morgan State University aided me in seeing the finish line of graduation and eventually giving back. From student to current Young and Future Alumni Development officer of my own alma mater I am passionate about the preservation of the Historically Black College and University experience and the Morgan State University legacy. With my undying passion and position I am giving my time, talent, formal education, and informal skill to ensuring students in this environment receive even more support than I did and see success without worrying about financial barriers associated with higher education. In my position I am now helping to raise funds for an endowed scholarship created in the name of a slain Morganite, Julian Benson. The Julian Joshua Brett Benson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in respect and remembrance of Julian Benson, a Morgan alumnus. The Julian Benson Foundation, Inc., a non-profit managed by Benson's family and eternal friends he met while a student at Morgan, started the scholarship after his untimely passing on October 20, 2011. Benson was a son, brother, friend, former Mr. Morgan State University, model, entrepreneur, and all around amazing spirit. His legacy perseveres through the dedicated efforts of the Julian Benson Foundation and the scholarship awards that have provided opportunities for Morgan students to pursue their dreams.

One of the strongest foundations of this school is its commitment to community service. A student-led organization called the Service Station is one of the most active student groups on campus, spearheading programs such as the Great Day of Service, during which Austin College students donate an entire day to work at many different sites around the community, and GreenServe, an initiative geared towards fostering environmental stewardship in Sherman and the greater Texoma region. With over 16,000 hours of community service each year, Austin College students help the community in numerous beneficial ways. <br> The College also has many local partnerships: Community Series partners with Austin College to bring world-class musicians and performance artists to Sherman. An annual internship program through Social Entrepreneurship for Poverty Alleviation (SEPA) pairs Austin College students with local nonprofits to engage in collaborative project work. Last year alone, well over $40,000 was raised to benefit these nonprofits. <br>There are numerous summer programs such as Duke TIP, Summer Science Splash, and the Austin Teacher Program (ATP) Thinking Camp. These initiatives offer a transformative, educational experience on campus to elementary and middle school students through partnerships with Sherman’s school district and several foundations. <br> As an institution of higher education, Austin College is distinctive. As a small liberal arts college, Austin College gives students the opportunity to connect with their professors; the student to faculty ratio is 12:1. In these small classes, students think for themselves, express their opinions, ask thoughtful questions, pioneer innovative ideas, and lead powerful initiatives. With their Austin College education, students strive boldly into the world with both a local and global perspective. <br>

The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation operates and maintains Wright's unique home, Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ. This historic National Landmark property, located in pristine native desert, is open daily for a variety of tours. The broad cultural legacy of Wright is the driving force of the foundation's activities. There are educational classes and camps for students and adults throughout the year. These are open to the public. The unique buildings are also the home of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture founded in 1932. The Preservation department works to renovate portions of the estate.
