Mission: The mission of international partners is to cultivate leadership capacity and create personal partnerships with grass-roots leaders in developing countries to bring education, health, and opportunity to people in impoverished communities to accomplish our mission, international partners manages six interrelated programs: *service delegations *technical assistance and training *leadership programs *supplies collection *education scholarships . *special projects. These programs are accomplished by continous meetings between our team and community members.
Programs: Ip cassie stern training center is the headquarters for all ip social programs. A dairy herd and bee hives are used for training and the agriculture income supports social programs such as education centers, leadership raining, and community construction projects, including water systems, fish tanks, and schools. Centro cassie provides 40 full and part-time jobs in a rural area where there are no other jobs available.
ip service delegations from usa to el salvador high school and college delegates stay with poor families who live by subsistence farming and work with them on the community's cutting-edge needs and dreams such as building a water system so woman don't have to carry water each day, or constructing an education center, or teaching in an ip education center. Delegates experience how the poorer half of humanity live while making a contribution that serves the community's evolving development. Ip leaders are trained to ensure that delegates are safe and the projects are effective.
the organization focuses and partners with different communities to find ways to overcome poverty by helping them obtain access to food, clean water, healthcare, education, income and other services. Some of the projects are: hacienda vieja- delegation in hv to work on education center. Also donated two new computers, conducted a computer training class for facilitators in all four education programs; painted poles, planted trees, taught classes in life skills, english, science, math and computers to children; cacahuatal- put a bathroom in the education center; la puertona - upgraded a barely functioning water system for the community, - put an outdoor patio on education center to accommodate more children; palo grande- built a building for the education center,- conducted training for facilitators in all the education centers,- inititated a home-visiting program for families with very young children,- brought a delegation to teach math, english, science, etc. . . To children at the education center,- initiated a study of barriers to rural education; zacomil dos-- built a tank for a water system; codeco -- monthly training for community leaders; radio victoria is community radio run primarily by youth from the surrounding communities serving the department of cabanas located in rural northern el salvador . The station is operated by teenage volunteers who are trained to perform all functions, including technical, production, reporting, and on-air broadcasting.
