Causes: Mutual & Membership Benefit
Mission: The international federation of psychoanaltic societies (ifps) is composed of 24 member societies whose main focus is an open platform for the interchange of clinical, therapeutic, socio-cultural exchange. This is relevant to psychoanalysis in a non-dogmatic way through educational forums held every two years hosted by a membership society. The ifps continues to disseminate the relevance of psychodynamic thinking to both human interaction and society. The ifps persues its tasks without striving for any material profit. The ifps promotes psychoanalytical training and practice and through disseminating psychoanalytic theory through the educational forums and exchange amongst the member societies, the ifps is committed to pluralism in psychoanaltic theory and practice.
