Mission: Home hospice is a non-profit organization, founded in 1982, dedicated to providing education, programs, services and quality care to ease physical, emotional and spiritual symptoms at end-of-life for patients, families and caregivers regardless of ability to pay, as well as to all in our communities who grieve.
Programs: Home hospice of grayson county, inc. Provides palliative care services to terminally ill patients along with physical, emotional, spiritual and bereavement support for the patient and their families. Home hospice of grayson county, inc. Serves grayson, cooke and fannin counties in north texas. Number of hospice patients served in 2014 were: 483 for a total of 30,631 patient days; bereavement services provided to over 498 individuals; two grief camps for children serving 31 boys and girls; pathways palliative services provided to 61 individuals via 273 supportive sessions and 16 consults by certified physician.

Provides educational support to health professionals and the general public through the use of seminars, workshops and resource materials about the care and support needs of the terminally ill and their families. Publications distributed: 24,800 hospice newsletters/2,100 bereavement newsletters; 500 final gifts books; 20 partners in education seminars; over 85 community education presentations with 2,471 participants; weekly cancer center facilitation of support groups; 14 supportive grief seminars and workshops with 204 participants.
