Mission: The Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra is dedicated to nourishing the hearts and minds of young musicians by providing challenging and rewarding orchestral experiences.
Programs: Performed 6 full symphonic concerts in the greater new orleans community and several community outreach programs during the fye 6/30/13 involving 250 students before live audiences. Performances were held at mandeville high school, mandeville, la; two performances at roussel hall, loyola university, new orleans and the latter library, new orleans, la; benefitting 7,500 people in the new orleans metropolitan area. Achievements: inspiring young musicians through engaging and rewarding orchestral musical experiences and the promotion of public interesst in classical and symphonic music.
