Mission: The organization provides supplemental sanitation, public safety, streetscape improvement, visitor information and commercial support services to property owners, businesses and residents of an area established as a business improvement district.
Programs: Sanitation - maintaining clean streets/curbs/sidewalks and graffiti removal.
public improvements - developing and implementing improvements to the district such as neighborhood beautification, maintaining public plazas in coordination with nyc department of transportation, and other general capital projects.
marketing - promoting the district to workers, residents and tourists and to retain businesses, distribution of electronic and free printed materials such as maps, guides, newsletters, and other information.
