Filter of Hope has an incredible mission bringing the Gospel to so many by meeting tangible needs first. To watch the power of a small filter be able to instantly provide clean water is truly amazing. The stories from trips hearing how people are so willing to hear about Jesus after the gift of clean water are so encouraging. Thankful to play a small role in this mission via supporting such an incredible mission.

I had the chance to take part in a trip with Filter of Hope and it was hands down the most impactful mission trip I have participated in. Their USA Filter Hope staff, their International Staff, the lodging, and the filter distribution, made this an amazing experience. The opportunity to help meet physical and spiritual needs of people made this the most unique experience.

I travelled with Filter of Hope on a Father/Son mission trip to Cuba last year. It was by far the best trip experience I've ever had! The pre-trip training, the accommodations, the food, the transportation, the ministry - everything was top-notch. I cannot wait to go on my next trip with FOH!

FOH changed my life in ways that words cannot convey. My high school group traveled to Havana, Cuba for 7 days. That trip rocked me to my core. FOH trusted us to plant the seeds that Christ will one day grow in their hearts. I will remember this trip forever.

Filter of Hope is a wonderful organization that that has forever touched my heart. The filters bring such HOPE to those that need purification, both through water and soul. ❤️
I witnessed with my very eyes how the filter removed impurities from the dirtiest of water, and replaced it with clean sparkling water that was safe to drink. We demonstrated the filter process to teach families in Cuba how to use the filter and maintain it. We also drank of the water they knew would once make them ill, and we showed them that it was clean and free from anything harmful. My favorite part was asking if we could share another gift with them and that was the story of Christ. I witnessed many families listen intently and ask questions, then agree to accept Christ into their hearts through prayer. I will always support Filter of Hope and can’t wait to share more of the filters with others around the world through future missions.

FOH has an amazingly effective ministry that not only blesses the recipients of the water filters with both physical and spiritual relief, but also provides transformational impact to the people who take the time to go on these trips and who get to experience, perhaps for the first time, someone saying “YES!” (Or “Si!”) when they ask them if they would like to have a personal relationship with a loving God. I can’t wait to go again!

I first travelled with Filter of Hope in early 2018 to Cuba as a volunteer. Truly an amazing time! The Cubans were inviting and warmly welcomed us into their homes. They so appreciated being given a water filter so they could have purified, clean drinking water. And many were VERY interested to hear our team share with them how they can know God. After my second trip to Cuba in 2019, I chose to "retire" from my life-long job and joined Filter of Hope Staff! I travelled back to Cuba in 2020 (just before covid-19) and am eager to go again in 2021.

FOH is an amazing organization with whom I had the opportunity to travel to Cuba three times (2018, 2019 and 2020). The work that FOH do is very impactful to the people there as well as for me too. I witnessed many families tear up to receive a filter because they have been drinking water from a rusted metal container! In addition to giving this water filters, we also shared spiritual resources with these people - of which many were open to the faith shared! Some were even surprised to know that there is a loving God out there. We were well taken care off (with really good food and a good place to stay) and I personally learned a lot from my trips every time. You make some great relationships with people there. I can also say that the money given to FOH is used well for the needs of the people there (churching building and supporting the pastor and local people). I highly recommend taking a trip or two or more with them, and also donating to their cause.

I am a monthly donor in the Community of Hope program and love knowing we are providing clean water to a new family every month. I also receive a monthly email telling about a new family we've been able to provide clean water to. Filter of Hope is truly making a difference around the world and we're glad to be part of that story

We, Grace Evangelical Church have had the privilege of serving with and going with Filters of Hope for a number of years! Taking water filters to people around the world and to see the Joy, and relief that people have when they receive a life changing filter, brings an indescribable filling, just to know you help save a number of lives, and souls in just one thirty minute meeting.

As the mission director of Grace Evangelical Church, I have seen, heard and read numerus articles on water contamination around the world! I have had the privilege of going on over thirty mission trips, seeing firsthand the effects of what contaminated water does to the health of men, woman and children, even to the point of death. I have traveled and spent time in remote and not so remote parts of the world and have personally seen the need for clean water. I have seen how dirty water affects people lives and drains their meager resources. I began looking for ways our church could help stop the effects of drinking, cooking and bathing in contaminated water.
As I continued searching for a better solution, I found a product called Filters of Hope. These filters took out the issues that all other methods and solutions could not. It’s a small portable filter unit that will produce 150 gallons of safe clean drinkable water a day. As I read about this filter, how it is constructed and how easy it is to use and maintain, I was sold! They are small, light-weight and packaged in a zip-lock bag, perfect for packing several in your checked luggage.
I contacted Filters of Hope to find out even more about their filter, their distribution, their cost, and how Grace Evangelical Church could take these filters with us on our mission trips, and even help get them distributed to the rest of the world.
I have seen firsthand how these filters remove 99% of the contaminants from the water. I have seen the joy and relief of the people when they know this will keep children and themselves from suffering from water born illnesses. We have seen and heard great testimonies from those who have received these filters and from our members who have gone and given them out. I witnessed an orphanage in Haiti that had a well but couldn’t drink or wash with this water. They were purchasing water for the children and staff. We set up two Filters of Hope filters and started filtering their well water, saving them the need to buy water. I’ve seen the tears of mothers (tears of joy) whose children had been suffering with sicknesses from the contaminated water and now they have a way of ending their children’s illnesses by having clean water. The filters are also an opportunity to share the Gospel, showing how the dirty water is an example of what I was like before Jesus cleansed me, like the filter cleans the water and makes it pure.

I first learned of Filter of Hope in the fall of 2019. My church was organizing a mission team to go to Cuba in February 2020, to deliver life saving water filters and the soul saving word of God. Being of Cuban decent, I was more than thrilled to not only visit the country where my mother was born, but to also share my love of God. To say that the experience was soul changing would be an understatement! I was excited....and I was scared. I had never done mission work before and I wanted afraid that I wouldn't "be good at it!" The thought that my words might plant the seed in someone's heart was an awesome responsibility. It's not often that we have the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the needs of others and the Word of God. He did not fail us! He armed us all with courage, faith, and friendship and WE DID IT! I am a beyond blessed to have had this opportunity and to meet some truly amazing people. I pray that God will bless me with an opportunity to return in 2021.

I had a great experience with Filter of Hope distributing water filters in Cuba. It was well organized and well led, and it allowed us both to serve those in need and be blessed by them, as well. A very meaningful trip that I will not forget. The leadership at Filter of Hope is both competent and compassionate. Highly recommend.

FoH is truly a one of a kind organization whose entire mission is centered upon the gospel of Christ. In every transaction, interaction and engagement the experience with FoH is Christ-centered and deeply meaningful. Every minute spent with FoH in Cuba brought me closer to meaningful living, witnessing and GOD’s great mission. FoH is operated with a strong emphasis on transparency, this above all else for any organization (let alone a 501(c)3) gave me confidence the invest of both time and capital were going to be well invested. The yield From the experience in Cuba however was unlike anything I could ever imagined. GOD bless the entire FoH family and its’ mission.

I'm a consultant (retired) in Community Development and Appropriate Technology and have worked with a number of non-profits in various countries - I can say that Filter of Hope is a top-notch organization! On my five trips with them to Haiti, DR, and Cuba I saw first-hand the powerful impact that their approach, technology, and passion have on the people they serve.
*Their approach is to integrate providing safe drinking water along with the very Good News of the "Living Water" that Jesus Christ has freely given to all. Added to this is the life-changing impact on those of us on the teams who get to personally interact with local Christian leaders, and with all manner of needy people who receive new hope and life.
*Their technology for filtering water one of the best I know, capable of providing several families with clean water for up to 10 years without the need for extra consumables, and at a very reasonable one-time price of just $40 per filter kit.
*Their passion for meeting the needs of the poor and needy is very evident in the FoH team leaders, interns, and national partners. They see people from a holistic perspective and will partner with other groups to provide aspects of service beyond their own means.
I highly recommend Filter of Hope - take a trip with them, you won't be disappointed!

Our church has worked with Filter of Hope for several years in different countries. I cannot say enough good things about their organization. They provide a great experience for our people by helping us meet a desperate need in the lives of people through water filters that flows easily into sharing with them about God’s love. They provide great training before the trip and the trip itself is very organized. I highly recommend Filter of Hope.

I have taken 2 mission trips to Haiti and 2 to Cuba in the past 5 years with Filter of Hope. Each trip was well planned and successful. Our groups had a great experience and we are looking forward to the next one in 2021. They make it easy for our small church to have trips that would not be possible otherwise, thanks Filter of Hope for all you do!

Since 2015 we have been on 4 mission trips with Filter of Hope. I've come to know their team personally and have seen firsthand their integrity and faith. They are organized, efficient, reliable and well connected in the areas they serve.
I really enjoy how giving filters to needy families takes us into homes and face to face with them. We get to know them before we share the gospel so it's a very personal connection. I prefer this to missions that are service only and don't put me in front of the people I'm helping. Below are some of the people we met this year (2019).

If you want to be part of something that changes life, give Filter of Hope a chance. Providing the gift of water, opens doors to sharing the gift of life through Jesus. We have partnered with them for years and will continue.

I have had the privilege of going on two trips to Cuba with Filter of Hope. Both of these trips have been amazing and have exceeded every expectation I had. The trips were well organized and meaningful. I really felt like I had the opportunity to share my faith as well as make a difference in people's lives. The time we spent ministering to the people and getting to know them are times that I will not forget. I encourage everyone I know to go with Filter if they have the opportunity.

I have gone on two mission trips with Filter of Hope. They were life-changing for my son and me. My son shared Christ with someone for the first time and they prayed together to receive Christ. It was one of my proudest moments as a father. We would like to make a Filter of Hope mission trip an annual event where I take each of the kids for a week of spiritual formation. I can say that this will be something we remember and talk about for years to come.

Water is life-giving and clean water is essential for health. Filter of Hope offers the abundant life to those who need it. My trip to Cuba in January 2020 was a beautiful illustration of offering spiritual peace while providing practical help. The residents of Havana opened their hearts and homes to us with the warmest of welcomes and in return they received a filter that will provide them with a way to maintain health and avoid intestinal disease.

Our Student Ministry has been on two mission trips with Filter of Hope. We love Filter of Hope for four reasons. 1. They care deeply about the Gospel being spread. 2. They encourage everyone on the trip to try sharing the Gospel at least once. 3. The water filters bring clean water and health to families and communities. So you help make a physical impact and spiritual. 4. Their trips are affordable.

We have been collaborating with Filter of Hope for over 2 years. Since that time, we have been able to install over 35 water filters, share the gospel and love on the people in very remote areas. When we go down to these spots, the water filters are similar to a peace offering, letting them know we are there to help and not hurt them. The professionalism and compassion of Filter of Hope is astounding! Thank you Filter of Hope for all you are doing!

Filter of Hope is one of the most impressive non-profits I've ever encountered, and I work with non-profits on a daily basis. My husband and I support FoH monthly because we believe in their mission. I recently went on a trip to install filters and share the FoH message. It was life-changing, not only for those we met, but also for those who participated as part of the mission team. The connection made with the local church in mission towns is critical, and the approach FoH teaches works beautifully.

This is an amazing ministry. I went on a trip to Cuba in Aug. 2109. The trip leaders, the pastors and church members we worked with on the trip and everyone in the organization are so passionate about this ministry. The filters are amazing how they work and what they provide to families for such a small cost is incredible. I would recommend supporting and going on a mission trip if you have the opportunity.

When you think of excellence in every possible way, think Filter of Hope. They lay out a red-carpet experience for anyone who joins them in their work. They create powerful moments that are both surprising and fulfilling. Their mission is clear, to provide clean drinking water to impoverished areas all over the world and to share the hope and message of Jesus. What they do makes a tangible difference every day. Their filter is literally saving lives every day. Children, adults, entire families. I work with a large organization that has over 20,000 employees and has been around for 70 years. In partnership with Filter of Hope, their organization has asked one question to us over and over again. How can we help you meet your goals. Not once has Filter of Hope asked for anything in return. They are selfless and put others ahead of themselves. They are the definition of what great partnership truly is.

In the fall of 2017, I was introduced to Filter of Hope and became more aware of the water crisis that plagues our world. Such a simple filter demonstration (manure water turned into safe drinking water) intrigued me and peaked my interest to learn more about Filter of Hope and their mission.
I have been to numerous third world countries and have seen the effects contaminated water has on people and communities. Being a plumbing design engineer, I understand how important safe, clean water is to families and communities throughout our world.
I was very impressed with their solution for this global crisis and how offering the gift of water, both physically and spiritually to those in need was so simple, I felt the call to become more involved.
In the fall of 2018, I became an Ambassador for Filter of Hope, raising awareness of this global crisis as well as fundraising to supply filters for those in need.
My wife and I journeyed with Filter of Hope for the first time in July of 2019 to Cuba to distribute filters in local communities. Seeing children and adults take a drink of clean water and hearing the Gospel, sometimes for the first time ever, is a feeling that is very hard to put into words. It is an experience I soon will not forget. I look forward to my next trip and beyond with Filter of Hope.
They are very well organized with very passionate people, who believe in mission and are very good at what they do. It was a blessing to be part of something way bigger than myself.
It was truly an amazing experience and honor to team up with such a great organization that is literally changing the world we live in, one cup at a time.

Just returned from a trip to Cuba with Filter of Hope. From beginning to end, this trip was well planned, well executed, and a delightful experience. Good mix of working hard for the purpose of the organization and a bit of down/relax time to enjoy the local culture.
