Causes: Education, Leadership Development
Mission: The mission of the Educational Leadership Program is to improve the quality and expand the reach of liberal arts education by working with institutional leaders. To accomplish this mission it will: -Provide as many leaders as possible with opportunities for professional development in seminars that maintain the rigorous standards of intellectual quality for which the Program is known. -Offer reunions and special activities each year that respond responsibility to curricular developments and emerging social trends as they affect education. -Maintain the broad institutional diversity in participation that has become the hallmark of the Program's activities. -Respond creatively to the needs of leaders of liberal arts institutions with opportunities to renew their vision and expand their thinking. -Maintain contact with former participants through reunions, newsletters and special programs that offer occasions for personal interaction.
