Causes: Family Planning, Health, Reproductive Rights
Mission: The purpose of the deutsche stiftung weltbevoelkerung (dsw) is the promotion of development aid, including but not limited to assistance in the fields of population policy, family planning and related public awareness raising activities. The foundation fulfils its purpose by pursuing the goals of the united nations population fund (unfpa). In this context, it performs the following tasks:(1)financial support and scientific advice for charitable organizations, which implement population policy programs for stemming population growth and/or family planning projects in developing countries. (2)public relations and disseminating knowledge about the problems of strong population growth in developing countries and the global population problem. (3)promotion of scientific work dealing with population growth in developing countries and the global population problem and solving this problem. (4)promotion of european and worldwide cooperation re. Population growth in developing countries.
