Mission: Changemakers' mission is to transform the values and practice of philanthropy in order to assure a more equitable and accountable distribution of resources for creating positive social change.
Programs: Donor Education: Changemakers works with committed social change donors to foster and advance their leadership, partnership and fundraising skills. These donor leaders learn how to organize their peers and to utilize their own assets on behalf of the organizations and issues about which they're most passionate. We also provide hands-on individualized coaching and advising for donors at various stages of their development. Outreach and Advocacy: Changemakers works to increase the visibility of this sector by writing articles, speaking at conferences, and distributing written materials to a wide variety of audiences, including financial advisors, individual donors, family foundations, and traditional philanthropic organizations.
