Mission: Bright hopes is a non-profit community organization organized to implement projects that stimulate improved school attendance of students.
Programs: Bright hopes youth community choir was created to encourage youth in the wallace road community who have parents in substance abuse recovery to responsibly attend school. It was also created to celebrate international children's day with a family friendly event for youth singing patriotic and self worth songs. The youth practiced once a week while their parents attended their na meetings.

our strong start project served pre-kindergarten students with activities that served to give them a great start for school. This project provided transportation services and offered six sessions on saturdays during the months of july and august for the students. Students lived in subsidized housing and came from families that had income below the poverty level. The students practiced responsibly walking in line, taking turns, sharing and listening to stories. They enjoyed a heavy and light snack each time they came. They also received two books during each session to build their home library. Those students scheduled to start kindergarten at a school that required uniforms received one new uniform to support their strong school start.
