Mission: The Austin Civic Orchestra was founded in 1977 and has been serving the Central Texas community for over 25 years. Our Mission is:1) To broaden access for adults and children in the greater Austin area, to high quality orchestral music at an affordable cost.2) To provide a quality musical experience for volunteer musicians through a community orchestra and related ensembles.3) To offer outreach opportunities to youth where they can experience, interact and perform with the orchestra.
