Mission: Promotes the preservation of atlanta's architecturally, historically
Programs: Educates metro area residents and visitors of all ages about the benefits of protecting and redeveloping historic structures through guided walking tours, school programs, summer camp, art exhibits, book signings and a three week long festival, the phoenix flies: a celebration of atlanta's historic sites with 80 preservation partners. Approximately 10,000 people attended its programs, including scheduled walking tours of 9 histoic districts and other special tours;
conducts advocacy programs ranging from working with neighborhoods to protect their historic character and testifying on behalf of historic buildings to publishing a most endangered historic places list. Currently, the top priority is saving the xxxxxxx building.
