Mission: The american associates of the sts forum was established in january 2011 as an autonomous 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with its own board of directors and staff based in new york city, with a triple mission of promoting the sts forum in the united states, the presence of the participants from the united states at the meetings of the sts forum, as well as financial support for the sts forum in japan.
