I was in a parenting class with Al-Nisa Academy a couple of years ago, while staying at a shelter. They taught me so much about myself and the way that i parent my children. All the things that i have been through as a single mother and a women, they could relate. These women are a God send. They never judge you, they let you know that you are special and that you are important. If anybody out there needs help with parenting or finding your voice as a women try this organization. I promise you, you will get everything you need, and more out of it.
