Mission: All people deserve to live in free societies that recognize human rights. We connect activists, empower dissidents, and amplify new voices for freedom so that the world hears and acts. Prying open authoritarian countries requires demand from within as well as pressure from outside. At the core is the dissident, the catalyst for the people and the motivation for the world to act. We recognize the terrible risks they face. Many pay the ultimate price. Advancing human rights provides activists with the technology to make their voices heard.
Programs: Movements. Org - at the nexus of technology and human rights, movements. Org is a marketplace where dissidents in closed societies can connect to the legal, media, pr, and technological expertise of open societies. Dissidents need expertise to keep their communications safe and to get their ideas to more people in more languages around the world.
