Well it's scary & embarrassing to go into a public place get asked ALOT of personal questions & then get tested for hiv it's quite intimidating then waiting for the results I was scared & nervous when I got tested at the clinic but the take me home test was non invasive easy to understand & everything I needed to take the test came inside the compartment drawer it only took 20 minutes I didn't have to be embarrassed or have my privacy invaded I was impressed at the take me home hiv test it was comforting to retest myself & no need to panic about waiting for the results
I highly recommend getting the take me home hiv test especially if you're unsure if you have it or not I recommend waiting a year after exposure so the test can surely detect the Hiv virus in your saliva

I met the founder Haze Lynn about 5 years ago while doing animal advocacy work in LA. We were campaigning for Mandatory Spay and Neuter laws for LA City and State of California. We both are horrified at the senseless loss of innocent animals lives created by the neverending over breeding of dogs and cats to a world that has far too few homes.

Haze's group is what I would call "Sterling." Everything they do is transparent and correct. They favor rescuing boxers from our high kill pounfs but they also have rescued other mix breed dogs as well. Take Me Home does not take on more dogs than they can handle. The NEVER leave dogs in boarding for months on end. They pay quality fosters to best care for the dogs while waiting for homes.

If they have a dog with a behavioral issue TMH provides that dog with top level training and behavior modification to best help the dog be "family ready" for adoption.

Once adopting from TMH they continue to keep in contact and answer any questions and provide resources for the adopting family.

TMH are the real deal and they never skimp on medical care for their rescue dogs-again giving the dogs excellent physical care as well as emotional nurturing.

This 1st class proper way to do rescue does not come cheap!! TMH does not employ clever heart tugging high profile scams that (sadly) you do come across in the Animal Rescue milleu.

All I can say is that EVERY PENNY you would donate to TMH goes to rescuing, medically treating, training and homing dogs who just need a second chance after being brutally abandoned-often in poor condition at high kill shelters.

None of the donations go to lining the pockets of the founder or any of the board or volunteers. I say this before God and I am a person of faith. Please look at the Take Me Home website and you will see more about the work they do as well as the before photos and happy adoption photos of so many lucky dogs.

Don't be fooled by fancy "rescue" videos that never show you where the animal ends up. A lot of people show up to the party but who is there when the camera is turned off. Think about it!

I could not say better things about Take Me Home. If you are looking for a hardworking totally non profit and 5 star rescue group to donate to this is one of the BEST. If you were a dog at the shelter you would be SO HAPPY if TMH picked you to rescue. You would be on your way to a fantastic new life-and even the waiting for your new family part is 100percent positive.
