Hilary and Cristina have been immensely helpful with facilitating appointments, offering advice and guidance, and helping improve the quality of life for the feral cats in my neighborhood. I had no idea where to start or what to do to help the cats as there are so many, but with the help of these women at this incredible nonprofit, we have been able to TNR more than half a dozen. I am so grateful to them and OHS.

Abode is an incredible nonprofit that truly changes lives by providing compassionate support and real solutions for people in need. Their team is dedicated, thoughtful, and deeply committed to creating long-term stability and dignity for the communities they serve.

When I moved from France to California, I found the opportunity of being trained to teach music in public schools. <br>As a docent with MFMII, I found connection, a caring community, a wonderful and respectful environment to thrive into. Yes, we bring music to the classrooms for a very low price, but it gives us back a much as what we give. Bringing music to the classrooms and finding purpose profoundly impacted me. MFMII will always be in my heart!

My mother (the donor) and I have been attending Sahaita charity events for a few years and we feel that this is an excellent way to give back. May god bless the whole Sahaita team - wether it's the Toronto team, California team or the India team. I am in a wheelchair because I was diagnosed with Sppina Bifida at birth and cannot walk. I feel that the families/children Sahaita serves and I are in the same boat so knowing that people such as the Sahaita team are out there really touches my heart. Once again, God bless you and keep doing what you do!

I retired last year as a nurse (something I loved to be). I was looking for a place that could fulfill my need for service to others, and for socialization. I was also looking for a place where I could interact with the community and I found both, in the Tri-City Food Bank. I found new friends in my volunteer service; not just among the many volunteers, but also in the awesome and hardworking staff who made it all work.<br>It fulfills such a great need in the community for people who struggle to put food on the table every day. I am so proud to be a part this hardworking, dedicated, and positive-thinking organization. I work two days a week and I value every minute I am there. The staff greets all who come to give much-needed volunteers, with a welcoming and appreciative attitude. I welcome the camaraderie of working with like-minded people who are giving back to the community. <br>

WFCF is a great non-profit organization. Their programs have been helping my students improve their school performances.

Furry Friends Rescue has the best idea, intentions and scope to help animals in need of forever home.Their constant efforts and dedication to help a shelter and foster animals is really amazing !!

Life saving company. So many of us are alone or in no condition to drive to medical appts. I've used their sevices several times. The drivers are volunteers who are kind. They'll even sit with you at your appt if you request that's what you want when booking. Ingenious idea, fills an important need for free....simply the best!!

I have fostered (cats, kittens, mamas and babies...) for Tailchaser at several occasion and was always impressed with how involved and dedicated everyone involved has been. From rescuing to taking care of kitties in precarious situations until they found a good foster home, it is obvious that rescuing is their passion; even their life for many... They were always very professional and made sure the well-being of each animal under their responsibility was assured. I always have felt heard and supported too in case of unforeseen events or emergencies. A 5-star rescue for sure!

I have worked for Eldercare for 2.5 years as a VIP Diver. It is the most rewarding job I have had in my career and my first volunteer job. I get so much back from meeting the seniors and hearing about their life experiences. Every one of them is so grateful for the program. They tell me how hard it is not to be able to drive. Para Transit makes you wait a long time and it is too hard on then. Taxis never show up. I can set my own schedule and I plan on continuing until I can no longer drive myself. This organization has NOT had it's status revoked. They do amazing things with immigrants, poor families, and support individuals who need assistance. They are very active in the anti-human trafficking community and have even won an award from the FBI for their work. <br><br>They are a community of Catholic sisters and are VERY active in their community! <br>

WHAT IS FUSS? FUSS is a very unique organization. (www.fuss4schools.org) <br> <br>FUSS (Fremont Unified Student Store) was started in April 2012 because of the tremendous and continuous economic challenges that FUSD (Fremont Unified School District) was facing. Boldly My organized anty bully assembly in my daughter junior hight - my daughter was very moved and inspired by this event. It was an eye opening experience for her. It simply changed her. She became more companionate, kind and sensitive to her classmates. Thank Bouldy Me for your great job - we will continue to support you.

I would give the Ohlone Scholarship Foundation a five out of five rating due to their immense generosity and organization throughout my two years at Ohlone College. Their generous donations have given me the opportunity to attend SJSU with a scholarship. I am incredibly grateful for their generosity seeing that my mother who will be paying for two college tuitions in the fall of 2015. There has been much of this looming finical burden that has been placed on my family since my father has been unemployed and my sister and I are simultaneously attending college. Therefore the HOSTS scholarship I have received means a great deal of financial security for the education aspirations I still have yet to fulfill. <br>I can guarantee that their donations will create a ripple effect by impacting my own future in addition to making positive changes to our world. I will be studying Nutritional Science with an emphasis in packaging and a minor in business. My dreams are to be able to market and create packaging that can minimize the carbon footprint of our society while still being consumer friendly. With these passions I hope I will one day be able to package the food and electronic devices that will be sold to Disneyland, along with other huge companies. A true aspiration of mine would be to one day walk in Disneyland and see that my consumer and environmentally friendly packaging will be present throughout the park. However, without attending college these dreams wouldn’t have been imaginable or yet even possible. Thank you for not only donating towards my tuition at San Jose State University, but also for allowing me to imagine and one day pursue my wildest dreams. <br>Without this scholarship foundations I would've never found my passion in life. It was because I received a scholarship my senior year from Ohlone that I decided to go there instead of other CSUs. The one scholarship called the Ohlone Promise Scholarship allowed to continue to play volleyball and truly have the time to determine what I wanted my major to be. Due to the fact, that I didn't feel pressured like other students at a 4 yr university that have to worry about getting out swiftly in order to not accumulate an immense amount of debt. The fact that I had time to enroll in many classes and not have to worry about the cost truly allowed me to find a major I am passionate about. Without the Ohlone Scholarship Foundation I could imagine I would be $24,000 or more in debt and choosing a meaningless major. The Ohlone Scholarship Foundation had changed my life and was the mold I needed in order to shape a future for myself. <br>

"There's no place like home". That statement is what my daughter used as a caption under a picture she just took of herself at a StarStruck rehearsal. Beyond being an excellent training ground for musical theatre arts, StarStruck Theatre has provided nourishment for my children's souls. I have seen my children blossom in confidence, friendships, decision-making, and time-management. I have seen children who are lost and lonely during the school day come to StarStruck and become "alive". For some children, StarStruck has literally saved their lives by giving them something constructive and creative to look forward to and to belong to. My family has ever been transformed for the better since StarStruck came into our lives!

Promise is an incredible organization - I am impressed every day by the dedication of Jaya Di and other volunteers in raising money and helping the under-privileged in my area in eastern India. What I especially like about Promise is the projects that they work on. By focusing on the education and vocational training of the kids, they are truly helping to build a better society overall.

I was really impressed with Ta'leef Collective after I visited their facility during a class workshop. I donated after getting to meet a few people and felt a great connection with people here. I would suggest you come by and see for yourself the great work they are doing!

I am Hsia Choong. My husband and I have been a donor to SOAR Foundation for over ten years. It is a very clear and transparent education charity supporting needing and deserving students mostly from minority races in Taiwan and China. All headquarter workers are volunteers. Many of them are long-term donors themselves. Over 90% of donation money goes directly to the recipient students. No middleman cuts or fees.

I work in the HIV testing/counseling and HIV services field. Tri-City Health Center is a low cost/free clinic in Fremont CA that offers STI/HIV screening, family planning services, HIV care, primary care, behavioral health, ADAP, housing, and an award winning TransVision care team. The staff at TCHC is friendly, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff. Each expierence I have had with them has been positive, informitive, and very useful in my day-to-day life.

This organization has been very active sending care packages, collecting items and sending them to our wounded warriors, distributing school supplies to military dependent children, collecting items for our veterans and also for military famiies of our wounded that is distributed at Fisher House and much, much more. They are on target with their finances and hold regular meetings that are open to the public where they can learn more about how to support our Troops, Veterans and Families.

Friends of Hue Foundation is doing an extraordinary job with the children's shelter, and anyone who knows anything could see that FHF is bettering the lives of many disadvantaged kids. FHF is doing an AMAZING job. I'm sure we all know that rationally, but maybe it helps to hear it again every once in a while. I was involved very closely with BITSAA Silicon Valley during its inception and particularly in its first campaign called BITSConnect. BITSAA Silicon Valley was very successful in galvanizing the alumni located not just in Silicon Valley, but whole of North America. BITSConnect was an amazing success and since then there have been several endeavors undertaken by the alumni organization to serve the cause of BITS and its alumni.
