Mission: Promusica arizona chorale & orchestra is a multi-generational community choir and orchestra whose mission is to enrich the greater phoenix area through innovative, joint performances of its multigenerational chorale and orchestra.

Programs: May 26, 2014 four pmaz chorale members and a small ensemble of pmaz orchestra members performed the national anthem and battle hymn of the republic for the memorial day ceremony at the anthem veterans memorial. Pmaz trumpet player performed taps at the end of the ceremony. (125)may 17-18, 2014 pmaz chorale & orchestra along with professional guest soloists performed haydns the creation at boulder creek high school performing arts center on may 17 and camelback bible church on may 18. Both performances included video footage of nature, and the may 18 concert included aerialists from the circus school of arizona performing on silk ropes. (371)may 1, 2014 pmaz chorale & orchestra collaborated with scottsdale community college choir for a free concert event at the college in which pmaz musicians performed a portion of the creation by joseph haydn. (310)april 19, 2014 pmaz orchestra members did outreach performances at desert ridge marketplace and paradise valley mall inviting shoppers to conduct the orchestra. Music from the creation was played and approximately 50 people stepped up to conduct the orchestra. (500)march 8-9, 2014 pmaz presented video games live at the orpheum theatre in downtown phoenix featuring the music from the most popular video games of all time along with synchronized lighting and video footage, electronic percussion, interactive audience segments, special effects, guest host tommy tallarico, and guest conductor emmanuel fratianni. (1,763)december 7-8, 2013 pmaz chorale & orchestra presented celebrate the joy telling the biblical story of christmas through music and narration by pastors of local churches. The december 7 was at boulder creek high school performing arts center and the december 8 performance was at camelback bible church. (554)october 5, 2013 pmaz chorale & orchestra presented a concert version of sweeney todd: the demon barber of fleet street with professional guest artists in leading roles. The performance at the scottsdale center for the performing arts received a standing ovation from the audience. (507)july 5, 2013 pmaz members sang patriotic songs for the rotary club of anthem meeting at ironwood country club in celebration of independence day and installation of new rotary officers. (40)
